Availability
I work fully remote and am able to support drop ins, walks and daycare. I walk my dog morning, mid day and evening for 30 min to an hour at a time. I’d like to be able to support other people who need assistance.

About Stacia D.
Dog skills
Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard in our home and a friendly, playful 2 year old male lab (fixed). If your dog is in our home, they need to be friendly with other dogs and potentially able to be closed into a room for a period of time if I have a meeting. I’d make sure to communicate this information when you are booking. For walks / being in your home, I ask for honesty in how you want your dog to be cared for. Ideally I’d prefer they are friendly so that I can bring my dog for walks too but understand that’s not always the case.

Information Stacia D. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know anything important about your dog. Things such as but not limited to: - normal schedule - friendly with other dogs / people - do they have anxiety or get over stimulated - are they crate trained / can they be closed in a bedroom? - how they walk on their leash / can they be off leash? - rules for treats
A typical day
I have a fenced in yard so the dogs can run around and play. I have a surplus of dog toys and enrichment activities if it’s raining. My neighborhood is super walkable with 1, 2, and 3 miles loops. I also have a dog beach if your dog is okay off leash and enjoys swimming. My own dog is a built in buddy as well!

Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Stacia and I’ve taken care of animals my whole life. I am a dog owner too! My older dog recently passed in March. He had a pericardial effusion and diagnosed anxiety. My other pup is about to turn 2 in July. I’m familiar with ensuring the environment is right for your dog whether they are in my home or I am dropping in to spend time / walk your dog. I understand the importance of making sure your guidelines for your pet are followed. I can give medications, follow training rules, walk large dogs, handle dogs that aren’t friendly with other people or dogs, high anxiety, and have disabilities (ex. Deaf, blind). If you have any additional questions for me, please don’t hesitate to ask. I believe in open communication to ensure the safety of you, your pet, me and mine!
