I understand every pet is different, especially rescue or anxious animals, so knowing their boundaries, triggers, energy levels, and favourite activities helps me provide the best possible care. It’s also helpful to know about feeding schedules, walking routines, medical needs, training cues, social behaviour around other animals or people, and any behaviours you’d like me to be aware of. My goal is always to make pets feel relaxed, understood, and cared for while keeping their routine as familiar and stress-free as possible.

A typical day will always depend on each pet’s personality, routine, and energy levels, as I know every animal is different. For more energetic pets, I’m happy to provide engaging walks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of attention to help keep them active and happy. For calmer or more anxious pets, I focus on creating a relaxed, comforting environment with patience, gentle interaction, and reassurance. I enjoy making pets feel safe, loved, and included while keeping their usual routine as consistent as possible. Whether that’s VIP walks, play sessions, cuddle time, enrichment toys, or simply quiet companionship, I always adapt my care to what makes each pet happiest and most comfortable.

Pet care experience
I have hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats, including my own rescue dog and two rescue cats. I also volunteered at a local dog rescue, where I worked with pets with a wide range of personalities, temperaments, and comfort levels. Because of my experience with rescue animals, I’m especially understanding and patient with anxious or nervous pets and always take a calm, gentle, and adaptable approach to care. I understand that every pet is different, so I tailor my care to suit their individual needs — whether they enjoy energetic walks and playtime or prefer quieter companionship and reassurance. I also understand that not every dog enjoys busy group walks or overstimulating environments. Some dogs need quieter routes, extra patience, reassurance, and time to build confidence at their own pace. With experience caring for rescue and anxious pets, I provide calm, one-to-one support tailored to each dog’s personality and comfort levels. I’m confident caring for pets with different routines and personalities, and I always aim to create a safe, positive, and stress-free experience while giving owners peace of mind that their pets are in caring and reliable hands.
