I currently work very close to home so pups will get a morning outside play/walk, playtime mid day, and another romp outside around 4 and then again at bedtime. Weather permitting my family and I spend most of the evening outside playing and we have dogs join us in the backyard.

I have a fenced yard and all of my home is dog friendly. With young children and a high energy pup of my own there’s always moving pieces and someone to provide snuggles. I do have a large crate available if that is something your dog needs.

I want to make sure your dog has the best time so any details you can give me about your dogs personality are helpful. Some examples are; how do they interact with other dogs, do they eat their food at meal time or do they graze all day. Are they are house-broken, are they ok sleeping in a crate at night or do they bark if they are out of sight?
A typical day
Stays with me are completely flexible! I work very close to my home so I’m available to check in on pups mid day. My husband is also a teacher so we have holidays and breaks with someone home all day. We have a large fenced yard for endless off leash play time! All pups are kept separated when unsupervised for safety. Dog not crate trained? No problem! We are happy to set up a baby gate so your pup has extra space to roam while we are away. Visiting dogs are treated like family. They are allowed on our couch and we do our best to make sure all dogs get equal belly rubs!

** I am starting a Facebook page for pet sitting as well you can find it searching Home Base Pet Sitting - feel free to message me there as well. ** For the past 10+ years I have fostered dogs with in-state rescue groups and have helped dogs of all shapes and sizes, mama dogs with puppies, sibling pairs, old dogs, young dogs, you name it and there's a good chance we've cared for it. I treat visiting dogs as my own and make sure to cater to their normal schedules. While most of our pet sitting services are weekend or week long affairs, we have pet sat for up to six months.
