Home away from home!
Hi! I’m Stacey. I live in Stratford, PEI, with my wife Sadie and our dog Jude. Our dog is our world so I most definitely understand how much thought goes into finding a pet sitter. When we travel, we use Rover too and I want to offer this great service in our town. We have plenty of experience taking care of pets - between us we’ve raised dogs, cats, and even bunnies. We rely on positive reinforcement, patience, stimulating environments, and plenty of fun time when it comes to our dog parenting approach. I’m a social worker and Sadie is a RN - so we offer a safe and trustworthy home. I work from home and am always within eyesight and earshot of the pets.

Great experience.. i loved that there was a backyard for both my dogs to play! My dogs seemed to really enjoy there time, and i was so greatful to get in ao last minute. Fast reponse
Thank you to Stacey and Sadie. We had a visit to meet each other and see if Jackson Blue and Jude did well together and I really appreciated that. After Jackson Blue’s first and second visit I felt he was in a safe, loving and fun home 💙 Thank you both so much for providing the best care for my sweet Jackson Blue.
Stacey took the best care of my doggies! We had a meet and greet so her sweet Jude could meet my two, and they got on well for just meeting. My two are used to being together and I was concerned they would take over in a new space, but she assured me everything would be fine, and I felt confident that she would handle anything that came up, if anything did. She was receptive to their needs and very relaxed with them, sent plenty of pictures and updates, and it seems like everyone got along great! I’d happily recommend her to anyone 🙂
We are really happy to have found Rover.com for dog sitting, and more happier to have found Stacey H, who lives not too far from us. She is really nice, and understanding. We had a short visit with her at least a month or two before our trip, to make sure that our Jiggs, and her Jude were able to stand each other, and it was an instant ❤️ between the two of them. While we were away, Stacey send us some pictures and comments about Jiggs, and my wife and I were really please. We recommend 👌 Stacey to some peoples we met on our trip, who lives in the same city as us. All and all, the best experience we could have.... Mario and Pam
Our baby had a lovely time at her overnight stay! Stacey provided a lot of video and photo updates and her pup got along just fine with ours! I would definitely recommend her services and would use her again if we are in the area😊
My girls received excellent care!!! So happy that we found them as we are new to Nova Scotia!!

Programa
I work full time from home. I take frequent breaks for my own dog - potty breaks, short walks in the neighborhood, and play sessions in the fenced backyard. We live in safe neighborhood, that’s walkable and dog friendly.

I have a 15 lb crate trained Havanese. Slow introduction, constant supervision, and use of crate for my dog, if necessary. There’s lots of area for play and separation, when needed.

My dog loves working for his treats. We use puzzles, sniff mats, lick mats. We play ball in the backyard daily. We take 15-20 minute walks every couple hours. Lots of downtime too - naps on the couch or in the crate, if preferred.
