I provide personalized, loving care for every pet as if they were my own. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I follow each pet’s normal routine to help them feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free. In a client’s home, I provide fresh food and water, administer medications if needed, take dogs for walks and potty breaks, clean litter boxes or outdoor areas, offer plenty of playtime, exercise, enrichment, and affection, and keep the home tidy by bringing in mail, watering plants if requested, and cleaning up after pets. I also send regular photo and video updates so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a clean, safe, pet-friendly environment with supervised play, comfortable rest areas, plenty of outdoor potty breaks, and lots of one-on-one attention. I carefully introduce pets when appropriate and always prioritize their safety, health, and happiness. My goal is to make every pet feel loved, secure, and cared for while giving their owners confidence that they’re in excellent hands.

Before caring for a pet, I like to learn as much as possible so I can provide the best care. Important information includes their daily routine, feeding schedule, medications, allergies, veterinarian contact information, exercise needs, favorite toys and treats, sleeping arrangements, and any training commands they know. I also like to know about their personality, fears or anxieties (such as thunderstorms or fireworks), how they interact with other people and animals, any behavioral quirks, and what helps them feel comfortable. Knowing emergency contacts and the owner’s expectations for communication and updates is also very helpful. The more I know about a pet beforehand, the easier it is to keep them happy, safe, and comfortable while their family is away.
A typical day
Every pet has a different personality, so I tailor activities to what they enjoy most! For dogs, that may include neighborhood walks, games of fetch, tug-of-war, puzzle toys, sniffing adventures, backyard play, and plenty of belly rubs and cuddle time. For more active dogs, I enjoy longer walks or hikes if approved by the owner. For cats, I provide interactive play with feather wands, laser toys, balls, catnip toys, climbing and window time, and lots of affection on their terms. I also enjoy reinforcing basic commands with treats and positive praise, providing enrichment activities to keep pets mentally stimulated, and making sure they get plenty of love and attention. My goal is for every pet to have fun, stay active, and feel happy and relaxed while their family is away.
