I always complete a meet and greet with my clients and their pets prior to any pet sitting service. I conduct an extensive interview with them so that I can learn as much about their pets as possible. I will never walk a dog off leash. The safety of any animal in my care is my number one priority.
Information Stacey F. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know about reactivity whether to other dogs, children, cars or bicyclists. I like to know what cues and commands my clients use so that I can use the same. I also want to know if there is anything that upsets or frightens their pets, such as thunder storms.
A typical day
I'm always up for a field trip whether it be to the beach or a conservation area. I always come armed with lots of yummy treats but always ask mom and dad's permission first.

I have had dogs for 30 years, the last 20 of which I have had 3 at one time and currently have 2. One of my dogs started as a foster and turned into a foster fail. He was diabetic and blind and had to have 2 insulin injections per day. I also have experience in administering other medications to both dogs and cats as I was an Animal Care Associate for Nantucket Island Safe Harbor for Animals for 3 years. I have experience in interacting and training highly reactive dogs and am Fear Free Certified. In addition to the insurance provided by Rover, I also own an individual policy through Pet Care Insurance that provides another $1,000,000 in liability coverage and have completed an enhanced background check. Although I share my life with dogs, I also have experience in caring for cats, rabbits and birds. All I want to do in life is be around and love animals! I'm currently working 28 hours a week from home with a fairly flexible schedule.
