Availability
I work from home Monday through Wednesday and at a retail location in West Seattle Friday through Sunday. I am up early in the morning about 6:00 AM, and am typically in bed by 10:00 PM. I’m generally around quite a bit aside from my retail job. I will not bring guests over while housesitting. I do not smoke.

I do not currently offer pet sitting in my home. I can come to your home for all services and am comfortable with whatever setup you have. If you have a cat, I will need a cat and cat hair-free bedroom to sleep in due to allergies (which I can manage well in the home but just need an allergen-friendly bedroom).
Information Stacey D. would like to know about your pet
I’d like to setup a meet and greet before helping you with your dog(s) to ensure compatibility. I want to be sure I am clear on their individual needs and any nuances to account for. Understanding social needs is important. Can they say hi to other dogs, do they have aggression or anxiety in specific situations, are you working on any specific training that I can support, etc.
A typical day
I am happy to take your pup to explore the local neighborhood on any routes you’d like - so many smells and great adventures! We can also head out for outdoor adventures (trails, waterfront, beach). If there is a local swimming spot they like, we can do that as well. Backyard time and indoor play, as requested. Snuggle time is always welcomed, as well as chill time and napping. I also love talking to dogs and sometimes find they like it when I sing! I can transport them in the back of my Forester (but do not have it gated off; therefore, would need to be sure they would stay in the back).

Dogs Know the Secrets to Happiness!
Pet care experience
Dogs teach us some important life lessons, like being in the moment and doing what makes our tails wag! I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember, and each one has been unique and amazing. Many people say dogs aren’t aware or are even “dumb”. I couldn’t disagree more, and I strive to listen to each dog and meet them from a place of respect. Engaging with a dog is a partnership that I adore. I had dogs growing up and at times as an adult (not right now). I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. I enjoy snuggle time, play time, hiking, taking them swimming, and also letting them relax and do their own thing. I am a Reiki Master healer and work with humans and animals. I am also quite intuitive, which is helpful in understanding cues and meeting animals where they are. I’d love to care for your dog(s), and if house sitting will take incredible care of your home/plants/dogs. I am detail oriented, very respectful, and a wonderful communicator. I look forward to working with you and your pup(s)!
Reviews

Stacey is wonderful and my dog adores her! Takes great care of the house and even better care of my buddy. I’ve booked with Stacey a few times and will definitely be doing so again in the future!

Stacey is amazing, my second time Stacey has taken care of shorty and she stepped in when I had a family emergency and couldn’t make it back. Excellent communication, care, and everything else. Wouldn’t book with anyone else

Stacey went above and beyond with providing pictures, updates, and checking in every step of the way.

Stacey did a wonderful job housesitting and taking care of our two pups while we were gone for a long weekend. She was conscientious about making sure she understood the dogs’ routine and needs ahead of time and was communicative and responsive throughout our trip. We would love to work with her again for our next trip!
