Family Fur Rent!
My family is happy to look after your four-legged family member as if he or she is our own. I've had a dog all of my adult life, and my husband has had both dogs and cats for 10 plus years. We've administered oral meds, creams, and sub-cutaneous injections (for our own dog). We have fostered and adopted from a senior pet rescue in the past, as well as adopted from another local dog rescue. We love all sorts of dog personalities! We are an extremely flexible household. Have a pet that's crate-trained? We can accommodate that if you bring your crate. Like your pet to lounge about anywhere he or she likes? That's fine as well. We like to sit for a single family at a time to provide a stress free environment for your animal (s). Chris and I both work at home, so someone is here to look after your pet all day. Our backyard is gated.

Stacey and Christopher always take such great care of our dog Sally, they have a great home with a yard and they sent us tons of pictures of Sally when we were on vacation! They are great they even taught Sally a new trick they are amazing people!
This was our first time leaving our Shiba girl, May, with anyone else, so we were super anxious. May is shy, stubborn, and doesn't trust strangers easily, but Stacy and Chris completely put our minds at ease the second we arrived. Their kind and gentle greeting instantly calmed her shaking nerves. They were so patient and took good care of her. We loved getting their updates and photos—it really is the best feeling as a dog owner! Thank you both for everything. We feel so lucky to have found you and will be booking again in the future!
We had a great experience with Stacey and Christopher watching our pup Hudson. This was our first time having him stay with anyone besides family so we were nervous but it turned out great. They were super attentive, sent us a ton of picture updates everyday and even let us set up a meet and greet ahead of time. We loved that they only pet sit one dog at a time and they were happy to accommodate any requests we had. Definitely plan to use them again for future trips. Thank you Stacey and Christopher!
It was our first time leaving Choriza for a weekend away, and Stacey and Chris were wonderful. They were kind, caring, and accommodating, which gave us great peace of mind. We would happily book with them again.
Stacey and Christopher did a wonderful job taking care of our furbaby while we had to be out of town for a week. They sent so many updates and pictures that put our minds at ease. We had a lot of special requests for our dog and they were more than happy to help us with those things. I would highly recommend using Stacey and Christopher to look after your pet. Our flight back into town was even delayed until midnight and they were so accommodating and understanding of our change of plans. We really appreciated how flexible they were for us. We could really tell how much they love and care for animals and we were so happy to have their help while we were gone. They have a wonderful fenced in back yard that our dog loved as well. Stacy & Christopher watched our pittie for a little over a week, and they were awesome from the start. Their home was the perfect retreat for our mild-mannered pup—plenty of sunny spots to relax, room to let out his zoomies, and daily walks to keep him happy. They were also great about giving him his medications and made sure he stayed on schedule. We received multiple updates each day, and it was clear they were paying close attention—they even noticed his quirky little behaviors. I’d leave our dog with them again in a heartbeat.

Schedule
Chris and I both work from home. Our daughter goes to our local high school. We take frequent freaks from work to play with the animals or let them out/walk them when the weather permits.

I have a fenced yard. We often walk the animals in our neighborhood. We've taken dogs to parks in the past (at the owner's request only). We are flexible!
A typical day
We're used to walking our dog in the morning and the evening. These are generally a mile or more. If your dog is less of a walker and more of a lounger, that's okay! We'll take our cue from you as to what you like and allow.
