I have a very flexible work schedule and work from home. A normal day usually consists of me waking up early 5-530 to get some work done before day light. My office connects directly onto my bedroom. During this period any of the dogs I have over usually sleep in my office with me till around 730-8 when we will have breakfast. From about 8-11am we will either be outside playing in the backyard, going for a walk but overall I'm interacting with the dogs and allowing them to get some morning play time. If the weather is nice I always eat lunch outside with them. Usually the early afternoons the dogs get a power nap in my office with me while I get some work done. They have access to outside at all times, my office door is always open while I am home. Evenings we tend to relax outside and have a glass of wine around the fire pit, the pups get all the attention from my folks or any friends we have over during this part of the day. Weekends we love to watch sports, so I am usually surrounded on the couch by all the pups while we root on the 49ers or Giants, often looks like a doggy slumber party. Come bed time, I have some dogs who sleep on the dog beds so I’ll usually bring those next to my bed to make them more comfortable. Other pups like to sleep on the bed with me. Overall any dog at my home will always have someone around to care for them 24/7.

I care for any dog in my home as it was my own and by that I mean they are involved in every part of my life and daily routine. I make sure they are fed, the nervous ones Ive even hand fed to make they eat. If a dog is a little unfamiliar with its new environment and/or other dogs, I stay with that pups for as long as it take still they settle down. Any dog in my home, creating a stress free environment and their wellbeing is my top priority.

Information Stacey B. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behavior that I can account for. I am very comfortable with pills, injections and any medical needs with pups. Please let me know if your dog is scared of canes or walkers.

A typical day

Plenty of play time in the back yard with an astro turf lawn, large pool and plenty of room around our redwoods or the doggy race track I like to call it. We'll go for walk around the neighborhood, if they are more adventurous and the day allows, I like go on local trails around the Saratoga area. I played softball all my life so if your dog love to play fetch, I can put my throwing arm to good use! If your dog love the water, I have a large pool they would have full supervised access too. If my day is slow with work, I have brought some of my regulars on errands with me, lunch dates with friends, or taken them to the local parks to get lots of smells in!

Pet care experience

My arms wide open and ready to greet your fur baby. I lost my black Labrador of 13 years to cancer in May of 2021 and I started doing Rover in December 2021 as I felt a huge void in day-to-day life. I genuinely miss the adventures, and companionship Duke provided me day-in and day-out. I loved my dog with every ounce of my being, and I still have lots of love to give any dog I spent time with. I’ve had dogs all my life and they have been varied in sizes and breeds. Dogs truly are man’s best friend and in time, I hope to become a trusted friend to your dog. I work from home and have a very flexible work schedule that allows me to spend all day at home and lots of quality time interacting, playing or walking your dog. I have a large home with a dog friendly backyard that is fenced in. Directly behind my home I have access to nature walking trails. My office looks right out onto the astroturf in the backyard, along with a pool, and of course your pup would access to numerous toys. I live in a very safe and dog friendly neighborhood. Dogs are very much welcome on furniture, lots of fuzzy, comfortable dog cover on everything and I love to have them cuddle and sleep with me on my bed during the evenings. Additionally any dog that I care for enters into a family environment as I stay with my folks as both are disabled, my father physically who walks with a cane and my mother with dementia. They are dogs lovers just as much as myself and thoroughly enjoy interacting daily with any and all dogs I have over.

Boarding with Stacey was a dream!! I’m fairly certain my pup is depressed at coming back home. He was very well looked after: safe, well-fed, socialized, and loved. Stacey is an excellent communicator and sent us a lot of photos multiple times a day. She has my highest recommendation.

I was in Saratoga for a concert and didn’t want my golden retriever to miss out on the road trip and a few weekend adventures. Stacey was amazing—she kept me updated with great photos, and honestly, my dog probably had a better time than I did (lol). I felt 100% comfortable leaving him with her and would absolutely use her again if I’m ever back in the area. Highly recommend!

Marley had a great stay! We felt completely at ease leaving Marley in Stacey’s care. We received lots of videos and photos and can tell that he had a blast playing with the other pups and interacting with Stacey and her family.
