I am a stay at home dad with my 6 year old child that I homeschool, so I am available all the time. I do have occasional appointments or events, but none of it takes up much of my time. It is very easy for me to be home and tending to animals whenever needed.

My yard is securely fenced in with a brand new 6’ wooden privacy fence. This can give you comfort and put you at ease knowing your dog(s) will be in a safe environment for potty breaks and play time outside. I am very careful with dogs when on leash and take it seriously to make sure they stay with me and are safe. I don’t allow animals in my child’s room for safety especially overnight and I never leave my child alone with animals. I feed dogs separately to be as careful as possible. I can accommodate whatever needs you and your pet have!

Please let me know ahead of time if there are any special needs or accommodations before me confirming booking to make sure we’re on the same page. All dogs needs to be UTD on vaccines and on flea/tick treatment for boarding or doggy daycare, so please be ready to provide proof of that, thank you! Please let me know if your dog has any resource guarding or reactivity issues. It’s okay if they do, I just want to know so I can be prepared for handling it and making sure there are no issues. Also please let me know how they are with cats. My cats can easily and happily be shut away in “their” room during boardings or daycare if your dog doesn’t get along with cats, just need to know!
A typical day
If I watch your dog, we do daily walks, can vary in how many per day/how long the walks are. In good weather we also love going for hikes at nearby state parks or forests. We do lots of enrichment with lick mats, puzzle feeding, etc. Plenty of toys such as balls and stuffed toys, ropes, even a flirt pole and a herding ball.

Pet care experience
I have been around animals and have helped care for them since I was around 10 years old. I grew up with cats and now as an adult I have three dogs and two cats. In my free time I volunteer with a local rescue, and I have fostered through the rescue or on my own taken in, vetted, then found homes for over two dozen animals combined. I was raised with so much love and empathy for all animals that I care for them as if they were my pets. I had a rover account a few years ago, but I deleted my account when I decided to legally change my name. So while I have experience being a sitter on rover, I unfortunately have no way to show my previous reviews. It would be my honor to care for your pets in whatever form needed, whether it’s boarding, drop in, walks, or daycare. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! My rates are to account for rover fees. I also require a meet and greet for any dogs that would be in my home to make sure they’d get along with my dogs. We can discuss rates further during meet and greets if you’d like.
