I have been around animals and have helped care for them since I was around 10 years old. I grew up with cats and now as an adult I have three dogs and two cats. In my free time I volunteer with a local rescue, and I have fostered through the rescue or on my own taken in, vetted, then found homes for over two dozen animals combined. I was raised with so much love and empathy for all animals that I care for them as if they were my pets. I had a rover account a few years ago, but I deleted my account when I decided to legally change my name. So while I have experience being a sitter on rover, I unfortunately have no way to show my previous reviews. It would be my honor to care for your pets in whatever form needed, whether it’s boarding, drop in, walks, or daycare. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! My rates are to account for rover fees. I also require a meet and greet for any dogs that would be in my home to make sure they’d get along with my dogs. We can discuss rates further during meet and greets if you’d like.

Amazing!! I cannot recommend Spencer enough! My German shepherd is very anxious and Spencer was all for helping me out in trying to get my pup acclimated and comfortable! I recommend 110 percent!
Spencer was fantastic. He was communicative, professional, and sent regular updates and photos, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our dog was comfortable and well cared for. He was attentive and picked up on little personality details, making the experience even better. We came home to a happy, relaxed dog. Highly recommend Spencer and would absolutely book with him again.

We can’t say enough great things about our doggy daycare experience! From day one, the communication has been incredible, we receive tons of pictures and thoughtful updates that truly give us peace of mind. It’s clear how much care and attention goes into every day. Spencer has also been so flexible and accommodating with our schedules when things come up, which we really appreciate. Most importantly, Xena absolutely loves going there! She gets so excited and comes home happy and tired every time. The socialization she’s getting has been amazing, especially as a puppy. It’s been such great preparation for her development and confidence. We’re so grateful to have found someone we trust completely with our girl!
Five stars for everything! After only two doggy daycare visits, Spencer is both my all-time favorite dog sitter and my best dog sitter ever! In two words, Spencer is superbly calm and professional. Spencer speaks clearly and quietly in his spotlessly clean front two rooms. His manner and home put me at ease. I presume he has the same calming effect on his canine clients. Spencer does everything is a highly-professional manner. When I sought a dog sitter for an overnight visit, Spencer was the first of a half dozen sitters to confirm his availability. I accepted his offer to pay for daycare instead and pick up our dog close to midnight. He has a fenced yard outdoors. He has crates to separate dogs and fenced play areas indoors for groups and safety. Spencer communicates promptly and efficiently by text. Every time, Spencer has met me at the door. Added touches like this make me feel special. Spencer has an polite assistant whose primary responsibility is to give the pets loving attention. Spencer's home a calm, clean, safe, and friendly place for your dog.

Zeitplan
I am a stay at home dad with my 6 year old child that I homeschool, so I am available all the time. I do have occasional appointments or events, but none of it takes up much of my time. It is very easy for me to be home and tending to animals whenever needed.

My yard is securely fenced in with a brand new 6’ wooden privacy fence. This can give you comfort and put you at ease knowing your dog(s) will be in a safe environment for potty breaks and play time outside. I am very careful with dogs when on leash and take it seriously to make sure they stay with me and are safe. I don’t allow animals in my child’s room for safety especially overnight and I never leave my child alone with animals. I feed dogs separately to be as careful as possible. I can accommodate whatever needs you and your pet have!

If I watch your dog, we do daily walks, can vary in how many per day/how long the walks are. In good weather we also love going for hikes at nearby state parks or forests. We do lots of enrichment with lick mats, puzzle feeding, etc. Plenty of toys such as balls and stuffed toys, ropes, even a flirt pole and a herding ball.
