Dog a day keeps the doctor away
Dog lover who wants to spend time with as many pups as possible! I grew up with a golden retriever and a pug, who strangely became best friends. Before them, I also had a lab and Chihuahua, so I’ve dealt with all shapes and sizes of dogs! I live in a great walking neighborhood full of other dogs, and am always down to go for a walk, rain or shine. I’m willing to keep your pup entertained for as long as humanly possible, and would love the opportunity to meet as many awesome dogs as I can along the way!

We have only great things to say about Spencer—he took excellent care of our pups (Rottweiler & small mix) and was kind, professional & obviously loved our dogs. They were so well taken care of & we will book him again!
This is the 3rd time Spencer has watched my German Shepherd Juniper and we’ll be back for sure! I love getting the updates and feel very confortable knowing she’s in good hands!
My pup has been well taken care of and Stuart has been invaluable as I have needed occasional dog care when I come to Seattle with my dog but didn’t want to leave her alone in a strange place and couldn’t always have her with me. Thank you Stuart for helping us make this trip to the big city work so well.
Spencer took great care of Taz! We were nervous because this was the first time using Rover, and Taz can be a little anxious. Spencer was great with communication--both leading up to our booking and during (i.e., sending pics/messages to let us know how he was doing). When we picked him up, it was clear Taz was comfortable and had a good time during his stay. We would definitely recommend Spencer to others.
Spencer is the best! Super communicative, sends lots of updates and photos, and we always feel good leaving our dog with him.
Spencer did a great job taking care of our dog! We got lots of pictures and updates on how our pup was doing throughout the stay. He made the drop off and pick up process very easy, and he was always quick to respond. Beau came back to us happy and tired! We definitely plan to have Spencer watch him again.

Schedule
I currently work remotely, so am able to take breaks for walks, feeding, bathroom breaks when needed! I watch my parents dog off and on already so am already in routine of 3 walks a day while working, and longer adventures on the weekends.

I have a fenced back yard where they can roam free when they like and the whole house is open to exploring. Nothing dangerous or hazardous for them to get into.
A typical day
Typical week day would be making breakfast with me in the kitchen, followed by the first walk of the day. Then after lunch, walk #2 in a different direction to keep it interesting, followed by the lunch time treat on our return. After both eating dinner, 3rd walk to stay in shape, and get tired for bed time. Then movie night, tug a war, and hanging on the couch. Weekends we expand our horizons, go on longer adventures and try to spend every minute possible outside.

- Just letting me know their exercise preference! I like to walk about 5-6 miles a day with or without pups, so if that is too much understood, if that is what you’re looking for, all the better! Also just knowing what foods they can and cannot have, if treats are okay, and if you’d like strict diet/ etc. all pretty routine information!
