Dog lover!
My family has had dogs all of my life. I personally trained our family dog when I was between the ages of 10-12. My husband and I currently have a senior dog at home (10 year old Newfoundland) that I lovingly care for.

Spencer did a great job watching my dog for a few days. She was especially attentive to his last-minute needs due to a health issue the day before my trip. Zero came back happy and well tired out!
Spencer was great with my last-minute need for a walker and was very responsive and accommodating to my specific needs that day. I really appreciated the notes in the Rover card about his walk, behaviors, and bathroom schedule to make my evening easier when I got home. Thank you so much for walking Zero!
Spencer is a fantastic and trustworthy caretaker. She has lovingly cared for her Newfoundland for years, providing regular walks, near-daily grooming, and tons of affection. She’s great with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and has a natural ability to get even the shyest dogs engaged and comfortable. Any pet would be in excellent hands with Spencer—she’s responsible, attentive, and genuinely passionate about animals. I can’t recommend her enough!
Spencer has always loved animals since she was a little girl. When she was old enough to care for our dogs as children, she always made sure that they were well taken care of and loved. She shows compassion, patience, and love to any animal she meets.

Schedule
I will be working part time (three days per week) starting in October but am currently not working for the next couple of months so I have very open availability (likely every day).

Safety, trust & environment
I have a very friendly, docile dog (a spayed female Newfoundland) at home to keep your doggies company while staying in our home. My husband and I live in a large single family home. The house is 2 stories but we typically keep our dog on the bottom floor due to her age. All staircases have the ability to be closed off with a door. We have an unfenced yard. We have a very walkable neighborhood that allows for long walks if that is what your dog likes. I am a very active person who exercises daily so I can accommodate high energy pups! We also allow pets on the furniture if cuddling is more your dog's thing!

A typical day
I love walking and have access to a rail trail so we could go on long walks. I could go for multiple walks per day! We also have a kiddie pool that I can put in the yard. I also love making enrichment bowls for my dog so could do the same for yours (we could discuss what types of foods you are willing to allow your dog to have).
