My name is Spence, I'm a 29 year old artist and musician from Boulder, Colorado currently based in Hyde Park. I've been in living and working as a painter in Chicago for 6 years. I've worked in dog daycares, veterinary hospitals and as a foster dog dad since I was 18. I rescued a special needs senior dachshund, Lucky, when I first came to Chicago and he was/is my pride and joy 😇 ❤. I rescued an abandoned Italian greyhound in an alley of the city last summer and took care of (spoiled) him until he was ready to find his forever home which he successfully found earlier this year! I'm active on Rover again after many years off to fill some free time and get to spend time with new dogs now that my house is devoid of pups again. My apartment is located near the University of Chicago with midway plaissance and a dog park right around the corner!

Spencer took excellent care of my senior dog! He was accommodating and understanding of Mikey’s various quirks and health concerns, administered medications as instructed and sent frequent updates and cute pictures throughout the weekend. It was my first time using Rover and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!!

I have a jack russel terrier who is your typical jack russel...smart, hyper, neurotic, etc he needs a lot of activity and adventure or he will become a home body and will only want to go outside to hang out in the backyard. Spencer provided that and took him on adventures to parks and around downtown and sent me lots of pics. 5/5 will call again

I freelance paint for work but my schedule varies and hours are uncertain. I am good about making time between multiple clients, jobs and personal time.

My apartment has a fenced backyard for potty time. The apartment is clean and "dog proofed" after having a very nosy dachshund for so many years in here and more recently a little strange iggy street pup.
A typical day
Like to take walks, runs, trips to the park, could even do baths for extra cash. I'm attentive to details so dirty water bowls will be cleaned, make sure no trash bins are broken into, etc.
