I'm retired but still very active. I attend a boxing workout class 3 days a week. Either me or my wife will be home with your pet virtually all the time.

We have a fenced backyard and live in a small neighborhood with quiet streets to walk your pooch. We will go for daily walks and trips to the local dog park if desired. I also have a medium-size wire crate if your pet prefers one. I'm fine with a meet and greet beforehand. If I'm in your home, I would like to come over first and understand your pet's schedules, routines, medicines, emergency info, etc.

A typical day
If desired, we will go to the dog park and marsh walking trail located less than a half mile from my home. We will walk around the neighborhood at least 3 times a day as well. For an occasional treat, we give our dogs a lick mat covered in plain, frozen yogurt

I've had dogs and cats my whole life, plus a gecko and a couple of sugar gliders. I'm recently retired and looking to stay active. My real name is Speed, it's an old family name. My wife and I love dogs and have pet sat over the years. We have an English cocker spaniel (Leo) and a small, mixed breed chihuahua/pomeranian/? (Callie) who is 3 years old and always looking for a playmate. At least one who is more interesting than Leo. I'm handy around the house and will keep an eye open for anything out of the normal if I'm in your home. Will water plants, bring in packages, etc.

The most AMAZING and INCREDIBLE person on this whole website! We could not be happier with the kindness that Speed showed our darling puppy during the week he watched her! He played fetch with her and from the photos you can tell they were best buddies! He truly has a gift with animals and is worth every penny and more! He accepted her placement pretty last minute and it truly meant the world to us how much he loves animals. He kept us informed very often with photos of them playing, walking, snuggling, it was just perfect! Speed needs to run for Mayor or something bc he's one of the best people we've met in Mount Pleasant! Thank you Speed!!!!!!!!!!! God bless you always!
Speed and Jennifer were a dream come true. We are new to the area, and I can’t believe we lucked out finding them. They took on my request with a little over a week’s notice and put all my concerns to rest with their kindness and warmth. They only left my pup one time on a holiday, which is so great to find someone who is always around. And the one time they did step out, they didn’t even crate her—which speaks to how loved and safe she felt. We crate her every time we leave or else she has caused damage. Speed’s updates and photos were plentiful and reassuring. My 3 year old even started drawing our dog with Speed and Jennifer with chalk on our vacation patio. I truly think my dog is missing them now. Will reach out again and again!
