I like to follow my clients' routines and rules for pet-care, so that your furry friends feel right at home even with their parents gone. I like to greet pets immediately when I arrive and reassure them that I'm a friendly face who is excited to see them! Next, I double-check for any notes left for me by my client regarding changes in the care routine and let my client know through the Rover app that I have arrived and that all pets are doing well. For overnight stays, I settle in with any luggage in the room where I will stay and visit with the pets more. I make sure to follow routine to a T, keep the environment clean and tidy, and let my client know of any notable goings-on!

I like to know about your pets personalities, how they communicate, if they enjoy being pet or playing with toys, any potential triggers, how your pets interact with one another, how they interact with their owners vs strangers. I also like to know about any health issues or behaviors you feel I ought to be mindful of. Any medications or special routines your pet has has should be reviewed with me in our initial meeting.
A typical day
I go by the routine that is left for me. I make sure to give lots of affection, attention, and playtime to pets that ask for it throughout the day. I like talking to the pets whenever they're around me so that they feel like they're a part of things.

Your pet is a special member of your family, and my care aims to reflect that! I grew up taking care of rescues who require patience, compassion, and care tailored to their individual needs and personalities. I have looked after both cats and dogs with all sorts of health issues, as well as individual traumas and triggers. Choosing me to take care of your pets means choosing someone who understands that your pets are just as important as the rest of your family, that they deserve quality care and respect. It is important to me to meet with new clients and their pets before taking care of them so that the pets will recognize me and know that I'm safe, and so I can be walked through your pets' personalized care routines. I do my best to be quick and clear with my communication and I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Sorren stayed round the clock with our three dogs for 4 days and nights. She was punctual, provided pictures and kept us updated on their behavior. The dogs had never been left with a sitter, but Sorren made them comfortable and accepting.
