Before a stay, I'd love to know about your pet's routine, personality, and any special needs. Things like their favorite activities, feeding schedule, energy level, any medications, triggers or fears, and how they do around other people or animals are all really helpful. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and at home while you're away.

Every pet is different, so I like to match their energy and personality! If they love being active, we'll go on walks, play fetch, tug-of-war, or spend time outside getting some exercise. If they're more of a couch potato, I'm just as happy to hang out, give lots of pets, and keep them company. I'll also make sure they get plenty of mental stimulation through play and attention, while sticking to the routine they're used to. My goal is for them to feel comfortable, happy, and loved while you're away.

I've had dogs my whole life, so being around animals has always come naturally to me. I trained my own dog from 12 weeks old, which taught me a lot about patience, consistency, and understanding each dog's personality. I've also pet sat on and off for several years and genuinely love getting to know every pet I care for. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or just hanging out on the couch, I'm happy to match their routine and make sure they feel comfortable while you're away. I'll care for them like they're my own and keep you updated with plenty of pictures, so you can relax knowing they're in good hands.

Wow! Sophie was responsive, responsible, and so so kind. We have a pup who was recently diagnosed with a chronic illness that we are still trying to figure out. Sophie was able to jump right in so we could still go on our long-planned vacation. I was nervous about leaving our pup with another person, but WOW! Sophie kept me updated while still allowing me to have time away. She was absolutely wonderful with our pup. It feels like a relief to know that there are people like Sophie who will love your pup and care for them as much as you do!
Sophie has watched my 3 pups multiple times and they love her. She is very reliable and we are relieved when she says she is free to watch them!
