Whenever I have free time, I like to go on walks and would love a companion. I live near The Strand and Greenbelt, giving your pet a range of places to be walked. I love catching the sunset on the strand after work or walking to coffee along the greenbelt on weekends. I take long walks but will accommodate the needed activity level of your pet. Many of my friends have pets, so we scope out pet-friendly spots on the weekends so their fur babies can join in on the fun.

I live with two other female roommates who are pet lovers. We have a fenced-in patio and are a short walk away from the parks/walking trails. In my home, a pet can sleep wherever they are most comfortable. I am well-versed in enrichment activities for dog breeds that need them. I have experience administering medication and special food diets. I am very responsible, and always ensure the home is secured (doors locked, windows shut, garage closed). I have a car and a clean driving record, in case your pet needs to be taken to urgent care.

A typical day
I like to start the morning with a walk, followed by breakfast and an enrichment activity. Throughout the day, we'll take breaks outside and play, with time to recover and rest. I will walk your pet one last time when they get picked up, to ensure they arrive home calm and happy.

Pet care experience
I have always loved pets and have been dog-sitting since high school. I've watched dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and activity levels. Breeds have ranged from Yorkies, Aussiedoodles, Border Collies, Vizlas, Airedales, and between. I have watched high-energy dogs and puppies as young as 4 months old and have experience watching dogs as old as 14 with arthritis/epilepsy. I have been through an off-leash training certification program as well as leash reactivity training.

Lyla (my Airedale Terrier) is always so excited when she knows we are on our way to see Sophie. She is capable, caring, and I trust her to care for Lyla when I travel, need someone to take her for the day if I know I’ll be at work, or just a companion for a quick walk. Highly recommend.
