I’ve grown up with dogs and have always been a huge animal lover. I currently have my own dog, Joey, and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments through Rover. I’ve looked after everything from nervous and anxious dogs who need extra reassurance and patience, to energetic, high-energy dogs who thrive on play, exercise and routine. I understand that every dog is different, so I take the time to learn their personality, needs and preferences to help them feel safe, comfortable and settled during their stay. I work from home full-time, meaning dogs are rarely left alone and receive plenty of attention, companionship, toilet breaks and enrichment throughout the day. I only take one guest dog at a time, allowing me to focus on providing individual care and a calm home environment. I have also cared for rescue and previously abused dogs who may need extra patience, understanding and gentle handling. Building trust at their pace is something I take seriously, and I always aim to provide a safe, loving environment where dogs can relax and feel secure. I offer up to two walks per day, including a longer walk after work. If your dog has favourite walking routes, parks or specific exercise preferences, I’ll do my best to accommodate them so they can maintain a familiar routine during their stay. I follow owners’ instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medication requirements, training routines and any special requests. My goal is to make your dog’s stay as enjoyable and stress-free as possible while giving you peace of mind that they are being cared for like one of my own. I was really apprehensive about leaving my Hank with a sitter for the first time, but when I tell you that Sophie is amazing, I mean it! Very experienced with beagles which are known for being a handful! Gave regular photos and pupdates, took him for daily walks, socialised him with her own dog and loved him as much as we do! I would recommend Sophie to anyone and everyone! Definitely will be a repeat customer 🫶🏻
We left our dog Leia with Sophie for the weekend, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This was the first time we’ve left Leia with anyone other than family and she made us feel at ease. We received regular updates and videos, which really made a difference and reassured us while we were away. Leia came home happy and clearly very well looked after. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog boarder. Thank you so much for taking such amazing care of Leia!😊

Sophie was brilliant with my dog Marley, You can tell straight away how much she genuinely cares about animals calm, patient, and really attentive. My dog settled quickly and was very happy and well looked after. I’d 100% book her again and recommend her.

Schedule
I work from home full time, so dogs are rarely left alone and I’m able to give regular attention, toilet breaks and walks throughout the day. I’m flexible during weekdays and weekends and happy to fit around your dog’s usual routine to help them feel settled.

Safety, trust & environment
I offer a calm, safe home environment and only take one guest dog at a time alongside my own friendly dog, Joey. Dogs are introduced carefully on a walk first and fed separately. I follow owners’ instructions closely, keep doors and windows secure, and always prioritise your dog’s comfort, routine and safety. Happy to do a meet & greet beforehand.
A typical day
A typical day is relaxed and centred around your dog’s comfort. We’ll go on gentle walks at their pace, have lots of play, lots of cuddles, and calm downtime. Dogs are welcome to relax on the sofa or sleep on the bed so they feel safe and at home.
