Animal lover who’s always happy to help care for pets as if they were my own - whether that’s going on long walks, playing, or just keeping them company. I have grown up with dogs and regularly cat and dog sit for friends, so I’m comfortable with a range of personalities and routines. I’ve also trained a puppy while working as a nanny, giving me hands-on experience with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. While I’m not in a position to have a pet full-time, house sitting and dog walking allow me to do something I genuinely enjoy while giving owners peace of mind. I’m reliable, attentive, and focused on making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for.

Sophie has been my cat sitter for several years, and I truly could not recommend Sophie highly enough. From the very beginning, it was clear that Sophie has a genuine love for animals, paired with a natural confidence and calmness that pets immediately respond to. My cat is not the friendliest or most trusting by nature, yet Sophie quickly took the time to understand my cat’s personality, boundaries, and routines. With patience and care, Sophie found exactly the right approach, and before long they had built a strong bond and were clearly very comfortable with one another. Sophie is exceptionally reliable and attentive, following instructions down to the tee and always keeping me updated with messages and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. There is a real intuition in the way Sophie cares for animals, always picking up on what is needed in the moment, whether that is extra reassurance, playtime, or simply quiet company. This thoughtful approach is matched by a high level of responsibility and professionalism. In addition to caring for my cat, Sophie has stayed in my flat on many occasions, and I have always returned to find everything in perfect order. Sophie took exceptional care of both my home and my plants, treating everything with respect and consideration. I have absolute trust in Sophie, not only as a pet sitter but also as someone who can be relied upon completely. Sophie was fantastic looking after our pet greyhound. Anyone who knows greyhounds know they’re big and not always the easiest to care for with their own quirks, Sophie looked after Esmae with such expertise I’d trust her to look after any dog.
Sophie grew up with dogs and saw them at all phases of their lives. She fed, played, walked and groomed them. She has cared for our dog in our home on numerous occasions and looks after our dog very well, he is so excited to see her and stay with her. Sophie adores dogs, she can't bear to see them sad. She is trustworthy, dependable, sensible and organised. She truly is awsome.

Schedule
I am working full time as a civil servant, with flexible hybrid working. If you are local I can pop by throughout the day for walks or companionship or I can spend longer there and work at your place. I can also have pets at my place but I understand pets are often more comfortable in their own space.
