Dog Lover!
I am a pet sitter with 10+ years of experience taking care of people’s lovely pets. Dogs, cats, hamsters, parrots, ferrets, chinchillas, and chickens - I’ve taken care of them all! Although I am new to Rover, I have 100% 5* reviews on other pet sitting sites ‘Pawshake’ and ‘Trustedhousesitters’. I absolutely adore animals of all shapes and sizes and have been around dogs all my life. I grew up with three crazy Springer Spaniels and often take care of my furry niece, a rescue dog named Evie. I also spent a year regularly taking care of a Daschund called Winnie. I am able to cater to the specific needs of pets, so whether you’ve got an anxious pup who needs to be kept away from other furry friends or an elderly cat who needs medication administered, your pet will be in safe hands! Having spent the last six months travelling, I am currently looking for work and have plenty of time on my hands! I'm extremely reliable, and will send you photos and regular updates so you can relax wherever you are going! I currently offer home visits, dog walking and day care.

Sophie took brilliant care of Milo when he boarded with her for 10 days this summer. Milo is a 2yr old adopted cat with some separation anxiety, so I was concerned at leaving him for our first overseas trip since his adoption. I should not have worried. Sophie cared for him so tenderly and lovingly that he coped really well and didn’t seem all that keen to come home! We had excellent communications and updates and felt really reassured throughout his stay. Highly recommended.
I would highly recommend Sophie as a pet sitter - she is very friendly and easy going and you can tell she just loves animals. She has looked after my x2 cats and dog several times when I’ve gone on holiday and I always feel like they are in very safe hands with her. She sends me pics and updates of how they are getting on too which I love.
I've known Sophie for many years and she has always been the go-to for friends and family in need of a pet sitter, as the responsible, reliable and animal-lover she is! She has a huge amount of experience, from regular dog walking and in-house dog sits to looking after pets in her own home. I would highly recommend her :)

Schedule
After spending 6 months travelling, I'm currently looking for work, so have plenty of time to spend with your pets. This means I can do regular walks and play with your pets as often as they like!

Safety, trust & environment
My top priority is ensuring your pet is safe and happy. I will make sure they can stick to their normal routine - daily walks in the area they know best, naps in their favourite sunny spot, and that 4pm treat (if that's what they're used to!). I will ask you to provide as much information as possible before caring for your pet - if they need to be kept on the lead at all times or they have a serious problem with a particular neighbourhood cat, please tell me! Whether you're looking for someone to spend the whole day by your furry friend's side or to pop in throughout the day to give them some food and a cuddle, we can definitely work something out!
A typical day
Come rain or shine, I love getting outside and it's so much better with a dog by your side! I always give dogs lots of love and attention and cater to their needs as much as possible, which is why I don't like to take more than three dogs at a time.
