Hi there! I'm Sophie, and I can't wait to care for your pets. Growing up with a professional dog trainer dad, I've lived with and learned from many dogs, including seeing-eye and personal defense dogs. I've handled all breeds, especially German Shepherds, and have experience managing challenging behaviors. I have a career in government, passing numerous background checks (most recently in 2024), so you can trust your pets and home are safe with me. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friends!

This was our first time using Rover and we were so happy with the care Sophie provided. She sent several pictures & updates daily. She played outside with Ernie and played with him every day. He always looked happy in the pictures & videos. She got our mail daily & took our garbage out. We highly recommend & would use again.
It was so nice to have Sophie taking care of the cats because we knew they would be well cared for. On first meeting, we could tell that she really cared for animals, was conscientious, and had skills with cats, and this was proved true following the week of care that she gave. We really looked forward to her daily reports and pictures. We highly recommend her as a pet sitter and would gladly book her again.

Safety, trust & environment
I meet a lot of dogs and cats and they each have their particular routine. I like to have instructions in writing whether through a text, a video, written on a piece of paper or in the detail section of the app.
Pets
A typical day
If your dog is safe to go to the dog park, my car makes for easy transport. I mostly like to snuggle with them, and keep their routine as undisturbed as possible in your absence. I'm not their person, you are, I'm just there to make missing you not as hard.
