Throughout my time sitting on Rover, I have gained experiences with dogs aged between a few months old to senior dogs, as well as experience with high-energy and rescue dogs. These experiences have allowed me to really get to know and understand the needs of each dog and how to truly fulfil what they enjoy doing the most! I can care for your pet on short notice and would love to give them the extra love and company that they most definitely deserve. I pride myself on providing regular updates and pictures for each walk, drop-in and house sitting, as I know how important it is for many owners to know that their pet is happy and well-looked after! I also have access to my car so can either travel out further to care for your pets, or if comfortable, can take your dog on a beach walk! I absolutely love taking care of both dogs and cats and would love to lend a helping hand to anyone that needs care for their pets while they're away.

Safety, trust & environment
Before caring for your pet either within your own home or out on a walk, I always make sure to ask of the specific needs, likes and dislikes of your dog. I have found through my previous dog walking and sitting experience that this is so crucial for ensuring that each pet is kept safe and happy while in my care. If your dog is happy to be off-lead, on-lead, likes treats to be brought on walks or likes to stick to the routine trails that they usually go on, I think its really important that the needs of your dog are catered for. I have experience with nervous and reactive dogs, and take extra care with those that may need a little extra space on walks. My goal is to make sure that your pet is safe, comfortable, and most of all, happy when going on walks or within my company within your home. I am always more than happy and encourage meet and greets before each sitting to ensure that your pet is comfortable with me!

Sophie was amazing with our complicated miniature dachshund. She provided exactly the kind of care tailored to her needs and nothing was too much trouble. She administered meds, asked how best to interact and play with her. Sophie was excellent at communicating with us giving regular updates and asked detailed questions before accepting the booking to make sure she was the right fit. It was amazing knowing our dog was in the comfort of her own home being cared for wonderfully. The house was left absolutely spotless. Absolutely brilliant service. Thank you!
Sophie was wonderful with my two dogs, and so flexible when I was feeling poorly and needed to leave later than planned. She was really communicative over the course of the booking and Pip and Maisie clearly loved her! Thank you again Sophie, hope to get another booking in with you soon!
Sophie was absolutely amazing, especially being available on such short notice. I really appreciate how friendly and kind sge was. My cats loved her, and I was so impressed by how easily she gained the trust of my nervous cats. I returned to a very clean home and, most importantly, very happy cats. Thank you for treating my house with such respect.

Sophie is lovely, so calm, very easy to talk to. we were Very assured and confident that poppy was well cared for in our absence. Would deff try to book Sophie again, when we need a sitter.

Schedule
I am currently living in Cardiff, with availability across the summer. In September, I will be starting my Masters in Cardiff so will have availability over weekends and holidays. I am able to provide care on short notice too!
