Hello, I’m Sophie and thanks for viewing my profile ☺️ I’m delighted that you’re considering allowing me the privilege of taking care of your favourite furry friend! 🐶 I absolutely love dogs having grown up with a Golden Retriever from a young age. I have lots of experience looking after and walking dogs and have done some pet-sitting whilst owners have been on holiday. I know that every dog’s personality and needs are unique, so I will listen to your requirements to ensure your doggy gets the walk they want and need. If you and they are agreeable to it, they will also get lots of strokes and cuddles. My utmost wish is your dog feels safe and relaxed with me and you feel secure in that knowledge too ☺️ I like to dog walk in green open spaces away from roads to allow your dog maximum exploration and enjoyment. Your dog will be kept on the lead at all times for safety unless otherwise agreed. I presently only walk one dog at a time so your dog will get my undivided attention. I'm currently offering up to 3 walks a day and can be completely flexible with times; I will just work around your schedule. My preference is for 60 minute walks so your dog gets maximum exercise and sniff time! I'm very responsive to messages and will always send you photos of our adventures together so you can see your furry loved one is having lots of fun! Please rest assured that I will always treat your beloved pet with genuine love and care and will always prioritise their wellbeing ❤️ I have worked as a teacher in the public sector for 11 years which I hope offers some comfort that I am patient, caring and reliable. Your dog will be in safe and loving hands.

I live in Normandy in a house with a garden. The downstairs is hard floored so perfect for dogs. The house is surrounded by green space with lots of countryside walks accessible from my front door. There is also an enclosed park nearby.

Sophie looked after our dog while we were away and we felt so relaxed being away from our pup thanks to her gentle and kind nature. We got lovely photo updates of how she was doing. She really spoiled her with love, cuddles, play time and good walks. It's really clear how much Sophie loves spending time with dogs and other animals. Would definitely recommend Sophie to look after anyone's dog!
Sophie looked after my Pekingese Poppy for a weekend last year. She is my cousin so was happy sleeping over at my flat. She walked Poppy both days, fed her and even had cuddles with her on the sofa. She also sent me photos and videos so I could see what she was up to! It was great for me and Sophie loves dogs so I’d definitely do it again.
Sophie will often walk our dog Barney when we’re out for the day. Depending how long we’re out, she tends to take him on two walks, one longer one in the morning and a shorter one in the afternoon. She is very reliable and always gentle and kind with Barney who is very happy in her company. She’s a lovely girl and I’d highly recommend her.
