There is a secure fenced garden attached to the back of our house, and multiple large paddocks with dogproof fencing ensuring everyone on the farm stays safe. My two dogs are happy to keep yours company and be a play mate too if needed! I have various sizes of crates to make a safe night time environment (or multiple sofas if that’s preferred!)

Please let me know if your dog has any specific needs ahead of time so that I can accommodate. Reactive dogs are okay as long as I am made aware in advance so that I can put precautions in place and help with additional training if needed.
A typical day
I get up early and spend most of our time outside. We do 2 - 3 exercise sessions per day which include walks, games and socialising.

Ultimate Doggy Staycation on an alpaca farm!
Pet care experience
I live and work on a beautiful farm on the outskirts of Newbury. I own an amazing herd of 40 alpacas which means there are big paddocks with dog-proof fencing - the ultimate holiday for your pooch! I have been on numerous courses for pet care and caring for animals is not just a job but a passion too - I’m confident in looking after all kinds of animals and would love to welcome your dog to our home. Growing up, my mum was a Kennel Club assured Doberman breeder so I have been around large dogs from a young age - I have a 4th generation Doberman from her pedigree and also a spaniel who are both my world! I understand how nerve-wracking it can be leaving your furbaby in an unfamiliar place but they will be treated as our own here on the farm and get lots of exercise here too! Fully insured, DBS checked and First Aid certified

Sophie attended our dog Lilly with so much care, attention and love. Lilly was very happy and we appreciated the regular updates (incl. photos). That’s how we were able to spend half of the day with things dogs are not allowed to knowing our furry family member is taken care of excellently. Thank you, Sophie!
Fantastic. A very happy chappy
How lucky we were to find Sophie! The first time we’ve really left our 1 year old pup Molly and we couldn’t have left her in better hands. Sophie sent us regular updates with photos and it was clear Molly was extremely happy, which meant we were relaxed and happy too. Sophie’s farm is amazing, so much space for Molly to safely run around and explore. I’m not sure Molly was keen to leave. Sophie is kind, caring and Molly loved her immediately, which speaks volumes. Unfortunately our return flights were cancelled and we were stuck overseas. Sophie was so flexible, keeping Molly for longer and taking away that extra worry. We would highly recommend booking your fur baby in for a holibobs of their own whilst you have yours.
I was very grateful that Sophie and Conan liked my dogs and was happy to board them. Their site is amazing and perfect for keeping them stimulated and out of mischief with enclosed fields on private land. They are clearly experienced and have a lovely, warm, calm energy that helped my dogs feel comfortable and settle in quickly, which was very reassuring for me. Sophie also made sure to get to know important details about my dogs’ requirements, is super with updates and response, and went above and beyond such as brushing them (for a trial stay) even though I hadn’t requested. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
