Sighthound lover!
We have owned a rescue greyhound for a few years now and so have plenty of experience with quiet and nervous dogs. He has come on leaps and bounds since adoption! We often look after our friend’s retriever, and have also looked after numerous sighthounds.

Fig, our greyhound had a wonderful time whilst staying with Sophie and her greyhound. Prior to our holiday we had a “meet and greet” with Sophie and Soul the greyhound at her home. Instantly I knew Fig would be safe and very well cared for. Each day Sophie sent us photos of Fig and an update which was wonderful and very reassuring. Sophie is a very experienced dog owner and handler. She cared for Fig as if he was her own dog. I’d recommend her services with absolutely no hesitation and Fig will most certainly be having more “holidays” with Sophie and her greyhound.
Sophie created a true home-from-home experience for our boy, Arlo. He was very happy throughout his stay and was treated like he was Sophie's own dog. We received pictures and updates, which was lovely. We are so grateful for the care he was given while we were away.
Beau had a great first day with Sophie! He was a bit stressed when we first got there but it wasn't long before Sophie sent me photos of him relaxing on the bed with their dog and he was certainly happy and not stressed when I picked him up! I would definitely recommend Sophie as she obviously really cares about her dogs and those in her care.
Sophie clearly looked after teddy well and sent me lots of photos, which was very reassuring. Teddy seemed very happy when I went to pick him up. Thank you Sophie for doing such a good job!
Sophie is a calm caring responsible person. She has the perfect attitude towards her dog and has managed with bringing him on in leaps and bounds, not easy when you take on a rescue dog who's life has not been all that it could be, taking an animal from a situation where it did not live to its best advantage, helping to calm and settle him down, training him into a normal happy dog life takes some doing, patience and persistence Sophie has in abundance and that is seen by the dogs love and devotion. I am very happy to recommend her to anyone who needs some help with their canine family member so I hope you will consider her with any needs you may have.

My partner and I are full-time workers but both work from home and so will always be around to give dogs all the love and attention they need!

Safety, trust & environment
We provide a calm and comfortable space for dogs whilst in our home. We have six foot fencing and a nice long garden for them to stretch their legs! Our garden backs directly onto a long secluded trail where we do our daily walks. Dogs will always be kept on the lead.

A typical day
We always go on a walk down our local trail which is nice and secluded! Our dog likes to sleep for most of the rest of the day, but we’ll usually have a play time as well.
