I work a flexible schedule which allows me to adjust to you and your pets' needs! Generally, I am available after 11:00 AM, but can make early-morning exceptions when necessary. I am an avid walker and am happy to take leash-trained pups for regular extended exercise.

I also make time for cuddles, brushing, or simple relaxation if that’s what they enjoy. My goal is to create a day that feels both exciting and comforting, leaving your dog happy, stimulated, and well‑loved.

What sets me apart? I’m basically the Swiss Army knife of pet care! I grew up raising cats, dogs, rabbits—and later learned how to care for horses, pigs, chickens, mice, and even turtles! I’ve been involved in training dogs since they were tiny fluffballs, and today I keep my own border collie happy, well-exercised, and still learning new tricks at age six (proof that old dogs can learn new tricks!). Whether it’s puppies, seniors, or pets with unique needs, I bring patience, consistency, and a whole lot of love to every visit

We have had Sophie house sit before and she’s been wonderful, but she proved to be one of the most communicative, caring sitters we have ever had during this most recent stay. One of our dogs had a medical emergency while we were out of country. She 1) quickly picked up on something being wrong, 2) immediately reached out and communicated the problem well, 3) took him to the hospital and 4) took him home and kept notes and a safe, comfortable environment for him until we returned home. What was a worst scenario type of situation was made so much better by her excellent care.
Sophie is such an incredible person! Great communication and very caring cat care. We always feel comfortable with Sophie looking after our fur babies! Cannot say enough about how meticulous she is....we are her biggest fans!
Sophie is THE BEST! We were so fortunate to have her take care of our girls! She’s so thoughtful and extremely communicative- look loads of time with our anxious senior dog to make her comfortable - our dog fell in love with her. She’s just terrific and I wouldn’t trust our pets with anyone as much as Sophie!!
