What sets me apart? I’m basically the Swiss Army knife of pet care! I grew up raising cats, dogs, rabbits—and later learned how to care for horses, pigs, chickens, mice, and even turtles! I’ve been involved in training dogs since they were tiny fluffballs, and today I keep my own border collie happy, well-exercised, and still learning new tricks at age six (proof that old dogs can learn new tricks!). Whether it’s puppies, seniors, or pets with unique needs, I bring patience, consistency, and a whole lot of love to every visit

I also keep the environment secure, clean, and stress-free, and I always communicate updates so you know your pet is happy and cared for.

Sophie was amazing! Burt is definitely an anxious boy, but she took such great care of him while I was away. She communicates frequently about when she would stop by, sent me pictures and left very thorough notes on how my boy was doing. If you are in need of someone to walk or take care of your pet, I highly recommend her! I’d never used rover before and had always had friends watch my dog. She definitely reassured me about everything when we did our meet and greet. Burt took to her right away. And I’m so so happy that I found her! Can’t say enough good things, honest!
Sophie has been absolutely great with our dog! He loves it when she comes over and he gets to either play or go for a walk with her. The pictures and notes for each visit she writes too always go above and beyond and are a joy look at and read.
Sophie is simply incredible! She is dependable and reliable! She communicates frequently so we have peace of mind when traveling! Highly recommend her for your furry friends!
Sophie was awesome spending some time with our dog, Ruckus, who is in his stubborn 'terrible twos.' Having to go out of town for the day, I felt confident and assured that Ruckus was taken care of. I recommend Sophie highly.

Schedule
I work a flexible schedule which allows me to adjust to you and your pets' needs! Generally, I am available after 11:00 AM, but can make early-morning exceptions when necessary. I am an avid walker and am happy to take leash-trained pups for regular extended exercise.

I also appreciate knowing how they interact with other animals and strangers, as well as any household rules you’d like me to follow. Having this information upfront helps me give your dog the best possible care.
