Excited pet lover in Pittsburgh!
In addition to taking care of many dogs and cats for friends and family, I’ve now been on Rover since August of 2025! I’ve done a lot of dog walking and have had a few house sitting clients through Rover! I had a dog in my house growing up and have taught my parents’ new dog many tricks! I’m very attentive and patient with pets and am excited to meet new furry friends in Pittsburgh! I also offer a trial meeting before house sitting/walks if you’d like me to meet the pet before! I’m big into asking owners for extra information about their pets and the pets’ personalities as well as their expectations for care!

Depending on the clients needs, I would make sure to spend quality time with the pets, make sure their needs are met and make sure they’re entertained! I’d make sure to play with them and care for them.

Sophie was absolutely a wonderful choice for sitting our dog while we went out of town for five days. The number of updates, photos, walks, and just overall dedication to our senior dog was incredible and caring. I truly appreciate how Sophie got right into caretaking and immediately made him feel comfortable and had him at her side. We really could enjoy our time away, knowing that he was in good hands. We really feel Sophie went above and beyond in multiple ways, including feeding him by hand at a certain point when he was not keeping his typical appetite, which really got him to eat. That was so kind! Thank you!
Sophie went above and beyond to look after my babies. She provided consistent updates, asked questions, and left my home spotless. She even befriended one of my pets who never socializes with sitters! She was flexible and reliable and I couldn’t have asked for better.
Sophie was amazing with our two dogs! She was communicative, attentive, and went above and beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend booking with her!
Sophie was great! Will definitely book with her again, she was great with our dog Pig, took her on her walks and took her for her weekend pupcups. Left the house clean and just how we left it. She was fantastic, sent picture updates of Pig on her walks, pupcup and ice cream, great communication
Sophie was great with our pets! She sent photos and updates regularly and took our dogs on walks! They had a great time while we were away. Definitely recommend and will be using her services in the future :)

Schedule
I work 8-4:30 most weekdays downtown and am very available to walk dogs after work or pop in for visits. I also have a lot of time on the weekend! If I’m house sitting, I can take care of the pets before and after work! I am able to work from home twice a week when I choose!
