I make sure to follow the owners instructions, when out on walks if the owner is happy for their dog to be off lead I make sure my full attention is on them and making sure I can see them at all times.

A typical day
Dog stimulation both physically and mentally is very important. I like to do this by playing with your dogs favourite toys inside or in the garden and exploring new smells out and about.

Pet care experience
I have two overseas rescue dogs of my own, both Labrador mixes, so I understand the importance of building confidence and creating positive experiences. We do a lot of scent work, retrieval games and confidence-building activities together. Through Stride by Side, I also work with many reactive, anxious and nervous dogs, helping them feel more comfortable in the world around them and tailoring walks to suit each individual dog’s needs.

Sophie has cared for my dog on numerous occasions and I trust her implicitly with him. From the moment she met him you could tell she absolutely adores dogs and mine was at ease straight away, they have a lovely bond. Sophie is a hard working conscientious person, always polite and very punctual and has the welfare of my dog at the fore. I have seen her interact with other dogs as well. Incredibly responsible and I believe Sophie would be an excellent person to look after anyone’s dogs.
