Love all animals, mad about dogs!
Iv owned dogs for over 30 years and have had the honour to work with them for the past 16, I have experience with most breeds being a dog groomer and owned many myself over the years. I have fostered over 100 rescues in the past 4 years also and am experienced in nervous, elderly, young and dogs needed extra care. I can administer medication including injections if needed. I have worked in boarding kennels before and have been boarding dogs myself for the past 10 years in my own home, where all dogs are welcomed into my family and treated as one of my own.

Highly recommend Sophie, from the first meet, our puppy warmed to her instantly- she was warm and loving with her from the off, Sophie kept us updated with pics and videos the entire stay. Penny had lots of adventures and walks with Sophie and finished off with a gorgeous puppy groom 😍. We would only use Sophie now to have our dog! And bonus we can book fantastic grooms too!

I have been using Sophie for almost 20 years to not only groom my dogs but also to look after them whenever I go away and would go to nobody else. My previous dog and the dog I have now both love going there and I know that my Bailey gets treated as part of the family. Would highly recommend to anyone! Fantastic groomers and a wonderful environment for my dog 😊😊
My little chihuahua has been to Sophie a few times for a bath and nail clip. He can be very anxious but has always felt very comfortable around Sophie. Whenever he has come back he smells AMAZING! and fur is so lovely a smooth for weeks after. Thank you for making my little pup feel happy and smelling beautiful xxx
My furbaby phoebe has stayed at Sophie's boarding on many occasions, its like home from home i didn’t trust any form of boarding until i met sophie, she has groomed my phoebe for many years and boarded her, she treats my phoebe as her own and i trust her a hundred percent, sophie is a genuine animal lover and will always put the needs and safety of any animal before herself, i would highly recommend Sophie's boarding if your looking for a trustworthy person who will care for your dog/pets needs as much as you would care for them yourself,
For Waffle staying with Sophie is like a dog’s dream sleepover! I never have any worries when Waffle is with Sophie as I know she is safe and well looked after. I am so glad I found Sophie as I know she takes care of Waffle like she would if she was her own pet ❤️

Schedule
I own two grooming salons where any boarding dogs can come with me, where they can meet other dogs, be in my company all day and will only be left if I need to pop to the shops, dogs are my life! And I spend all day everyday caring for my own and everyone else’s!

Safety, trust & environment
I have two fully fenced gardens with over 100ft to run around in, I have 6 small rescue dogs myself that your dog can meet and play with. The gardens are accessible all day every day during the summer and at regular intervals in the winter depending on the weather. They are all brilliant with other dogs and are used to different dogs staying in our home. All dogs are allowed on my furniture! I always say to visitors “find a spot the dogs arnt sitting on” I also have indoor gates used as extra safety to avoid any escapees!

A typical day
I own 6 little doggos myself ranging from 2-15 years old (5 of which are rescues)and I am used to all different behaviours including nervous dogs. I run my grooming business where any dogs staying with me are welcome to come with me as do my own dogs sometimes, the salons are a relaxed atmosphere with lots of regular clients, we can have playtime and meet lots of new friends! Behind my salon is a huge field and woods where I include plenty of time for your dog throughout the day, including a long walk around the fields and plenty of enrichment activities🎾 (I am flexible with walk timings and can stick to their usual routine if needed) When I am home of my days off I live right by a nature reserve where we can walk shaded and play in amongst the trees and stream. However If your dog would prefer to stay home on my days in the salon my husband is home so your pooch is welcome to stay there too.
