Dependable dog care with heart
I've been looking after pets for friends and family since I was 15 years old. For the last few years in particular I've walked and boarded dogs for friends, family and neighbours, to the point where the other dog owners in the village suggested I should start professionally! I love being around animals, I've trained puppies, administered flea treatments while boarding and looked after senior cats who were older than me! I'm in a semi-rural area with lots of green spaces to exercise dogs, but also enjoy taking them on a trip to the beach.

I offer a calm, cosy, and dog-friendly home where your pup gets treated like my own. I make sure every dog gets plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment. There’s space to stretch out, play, and a comfy spot for naps. I have a fenced back garden, note this is gravelled but hasn't been a problem for any of the dogs, and the semi-rural area provides plenty of spaces for walks and is a short drive from the beach. Dogs have full run of the downstairs and are more than welcome on all of the sofas for cuddles, naps, or just some space to chill.

I felt very confident leaving Luna. She trotted in to Sophie’s house and had a great time. She was relaxed enough to snooze on the sofa. Lovely walk round the block too.
Sophie is a wonderful dog sitter and someone we would highly recommend. We were so happy leaving Moose in her care. She gave us lots of photo updates which we enjoyed and took him on some really fun dog walks. We would love to use her again in the future. Thank you so much!!

Marley had the best time with Sophie today. Sophie sent us lots of updates and photos of Marley throughout the day to let us know how he had settled. Marley is such a high energy dog but Sophie was brilliant with him and meeting his needs. Her communication is brilliant and is very responsive to messages. Marley also loved meeting and playing with his new doggy friend Riley. We would happily use Sophie again for dog sitting in the future. Thank you!

We honestly couldn’t ask for a better person to look after our dog, Remy. Sophie is so kind, loving, and genuinely amazing with him - we’re always completely at ease knowing he’s in the very best hands. Remy is quite a sensitive soul who struggles when he’s away from us, but Sophie treats him with such love and patience - taking the time to really understand him and his needs. She treats him like he’s her own, taking him on lovely nature walks, little brunch outings, and making sure he’s always happy and entertained. We never have to worry that he’s bored, lonely, or unsettled. She also sends us the sweetest photo updates - whether he’s out exploring or curled up having a snooze - so we always know he’s safe and content. It’s such a comfort to leave him with someone we trust so completely. Sophie has such a natural way with animals and is incredibly thoughtful and attentive. We feel so lucky to have her in Remy’s life, and he absolutely loves her too!

Harmonogram
I currently work from home quite flexibly which allows me to be home to periodically look after my parents dog, Riley. I look after him from a Monday night to Tuesday afternoon so your pet will have a chilled pug companion, but I have a dog free house the rest of the week.
