Part time health care worker that loves animals
I had been lucky enough to grow up in a household that included many different pets such as rabbits, dogs and cats. We got our first dog, a beautiful patterdale named pepsi when i was in primary school, and i spent my childhood taking him on long walks as my mother was disabled and could not walk him often. About 6 years ago i started walking a friends dog as she also could not manage to walk him and i loved being able to provide this beautiful dog with his daily exercise. I also have experience caring for family/friends pets within my home and walks when needed as I am known by family and friends to be a pet lover. I now have moved into my own home, and have a beautiful mearl cockapoo to share it with. She is extremely friendly with other dogs and loves making new friends. I love getting out in nature and exploring, i am lucky enough to be surrounded by a lot of beautiful areas. On the days i am not working, i would love to offer someone help with walking or dog sitting. I can also offer overnight stays if needed. Happy to accommodate where needed, and i can get alternative care for my dog penny if you would like your dog to be the only pet within my home, such as if your pet does not get on with other dogs or suffers with anxiety. I have currently now been on rover for over 6 months and have been lucky enough to look after many beautiful dogs of all sizes with a few repeat bookings. Thank you for taking the time to read

This is the second time Sophie has looked after Nacho and I can't recommend her enough. She looks after Nacho as her own and is extremely accommodating. We receive updates with pictures and messages so feel completely at ease. We trust Sophie wholly with Nacho and will definitely be booking again. Sophie's place is also perfectly set up for any dog to feel as comfortable as they would in their home and receive the exact same amount of love. Sophie is extremely kind and friendly! I found her services to be professional and considerate. This was the first time I booked through Rover so I was new to the experience and it went seamlessly with Sophie. Both my dogs Bella and Ace had a great stay with Sophie and her family, including her lovely dog Penny.

Schedule
I am currently working part time as a self employed health care worker with an agency so I am extremely flexible and will be available most days if bookings are made in advance.

Safety, trust & environment
Having a dog myself i understand how worrying it can be allowing someone else to care for your family member! They will be treated with love and hopefully feel very comfortable in my company. I have a lovely terraced house, with a fenced off garden that they will have access to all day so unlimited toilet breaks available. I live down a quiet road that is a dead end, so not much traffic passes my house. We are lucky enough to have a forest with a stream behind the house that we take daily walks in, that leads to a field where we can have on lead play. Your dog will be free to come for cuddles on the sofa and be allowed wherever he/she wants to go within the property.

A typical day
I love to get out in nature and we are so lucky to be surrounded by some beautiful parks and forests in this part of the country. As mentioned above i have a beautiful forest and stream behind my house that my dog loves to go paddling in. We love to play ball games, tug of war and have lots of cuddles. Would love to hear from you on the things your dog loves to do, and would be more than happy to incorporate this into the day as every dog has different needs/wants.
