I'll make your dog feel at home!
I LOVE dogs! I have many years of both personal and professional experience caring for dogs. I worked in a veterinary clinic as dog walker, feeder, bather, kennel cleaner, medication giver, and all-around companion for boarders. I recently lost my own beloved furbaby to old age after 16 wonderful years together. I really miss canine companionship but I'm not ready yet for a new dog of my own, so I'd be thrilled to shower your dog with the affection, friendship, and loving, responsible care I gave my own. I work from home, so I would be keeping a watchful eye on your dog and providing them companionship all day long, and I'm happy to give frequent bathroom breaks and walks--and of course, ear scratches, belly rubs, and games of catch and tug-of-war! I have experience with senior and special-needs dogs, and some experience with bathing and light grooming. I have a secure, clean, smoke-free, pest-free, pet-free, and child-free home, and I would love to open my home to your dog and make them feel comfortable, secure, and loved!

I am so thankful for Sophie! My girl Elizabeth is known to hunger strike when we are out of town and she had no issues eating during her first overnight with Sophie. We will definitely be booking with Sophie again.
Sophie was great. She sent photos throughout the evening and Kevin seemed to be having a great time. I would definitely feel comfortable leaving Kevin with her again.
I love how comfortable Rusty is with Sophie and Sean! This is our second time booking and my husband and I were shocked at how our boy didn’t even look back when we dropped him off. He was so excited to hang out with them. Normally he pulls at the leash or cries when we leave him with someone new but not this time. My dog is happy so I am happy. I cannot imagine ever booking with anyone else.
Sophie was so reassuring and communicative while watching our anxious older dog! We received updates every day we were gone- I would so highly recommend her!
Sophie was excellent sitter on short notice. She and her partner were very communicative and flexible with me when I experienced weather-related flight delays. Thanks Sophie!

Ein typischer Tag
I live near the beach and several parks, so a walk to the beach to throw the ball around or just hang out is always an option. I can take them on long walks, play with their favorite toys, or just chill out and cuddle! I can provide your dog with as much or as little activity as they want and need and am very flexible and adaptive when it comes to the kind of care your dog receives and the activities we engage in.
