I adore animals. I have grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. When I did not have a pet of my own I always have asked friends and family to take care of their pets when in need. People have always relied on me with their animals as they know I show love and I am very attentive. I have mostly trained my young puppy who has a lot of energy, with the help of a few wonderful sitters. I understand behavioral training, being kind but firm. Teaching with kindness and showing the animals the way rather than teaching in fear. I give a lot of attention and am able to read their body language well. I work freelance so I am available intermittently. But when I am available for sitting I am present to give the animal full time care, so if you have an animal who has separation anxiety and doesn't I take the dogs out first thing in the morning for an hour sometimes even 2 hour run in the park. a few small walks in the day and another longer walk or run in the afternoon. I also love to take the dogs on hikes. I do not have a crate as I did not do crate training with my dog but if you want to provide one I am happy to. My apartment is puppy/dog proof. I have a big yard although it is not fenced on one side so I always watch the dogs when I am out there. I have a nice big dog park near my place. I am currently working freelance, as previously mentioned. Reach out to me and I will tell you when/if I am available. I really enjoy animals company and I work in the city so this is something I like to do when I am home in Hudson and not working. I do allow my dog on the bed and couch in my own home, but I do encourage him to sit on his own bed. I can follow any rules that you wish that aligns with you and your pets needs.

This is the second time Sophie has cared for our two cats, and she’s been wonderful each time. She gives them so much love and playtime, and keeps us updated regularly, which we really appreciate. It’s such a comfort knowing they’re in good hands while we’re away. They were happy and content when we got back.
Sophie took wonderful care of our two kittens while we were away on a long trip. Since it was our first time using a sitter, we were pretty nervous but she was very communicative and attentive which gave us so much peace of mind. We could tell that she was going above and beyond to make sure they had lots of love and attention. When we came home, it was clear they had been well cared for—happy, healthy, and content. We’re so grateful and would love for Sophie to watch our girls again sometime.
Sophie took excellent care of our dog, two cats, and home. She is so kind and caring.
Was visiting for a wedding was flexible on the timing, I change the timing . Puppies were very happy when I came home.
Sophie was amazing with our furry baby, Fancy! She kept us updated throughout the boarding with plenty of pictures, and made sure he got multiple walks and lots of playtime. We felt so comfortable knowing he was in great hands. I would definitely recommend her and work with her for our future events.
Sophie came to sit with our dogs when we visited Hudson for a weekend and wanted to go out for dinner, she came for Friday and Saturday and was a pleasure to deal with and our dogs loved her. Super responsible, very easy and flexible on timings - would thoroughly recommend!

I live in Hudson. I love to take dogs on hikes and where they can swim (if they like to swim) I love playing with them, running, playing fetch, using many different toys. There are many beautiful places near where I live where dogs can play in nature. I have a car so I am always going on adventures to take my dog.
