I work from home, so I’m really flexible with care. Typically I like to take dogs for a short walk before work and at lunchtime, then for a longer walk after work but this is very dependent on each dog individually. Of course there are numerous toilet breaks and cuddle breaks within the day too!

Pet care experience
Having recently lost my Australian Shepherd, I feel my house is too big and quiet with just me here. I’ve always looked after friends and family’s dogs and have really enjoyed it, so now I’m branching out! I’ve experience with anxious dogs, reactive dogs, and poorly/medicated dogs. I’ve owned a big dog and have looked after little dogs too, so really every and any dog is welcome at my house.

This is the first time I have used Rover.com and I was a bit nervous as it was just a one-off day care arrangement. Sophie was great, relaxed and easy to communicate with. Gus is also a chilled soul and so I immediately knew it was going to be fine. Sophie was attentive without being over the top, which some doggy people can be - that wouldn't have been great for Gus. I really appreciated her calm house and knew Gus would be happy there, which he clearly was when I returned. Thanks Sophie x
Barney has had a great day with Sophie, he was made very welcome when we arrived. Sophie and I had a good chat about Barney so Sophie knew all about him by the time I left them. Then at pick up Barney was very relaxed and happy and had had a good day. Thank you Sophie, I will definitely be checking your availability next time I need a sitter 😊
