I’ve been around cats my entire life, so caring for them comes naturally. Growing up with cats has given me experience with a wide range of personalities, from confident and affectionate lap cats to nervous and senior cats with more complex needs. I understand that every cat is different and can adapt to different temperaments. Alongside my life long experience with cats, my policing background has shaped me into a dependable, observant and trustworthy person. As a cat sitter, this means you can rely on me to follow your instructions carefully and fully, to respect your home, notice any changes in your cats behaviour and keep you informed with clear updates. Trusting someone with your pet and home is a huge decision, and I take that responsibility seriously.

By default, you can expect love, respect and care for both your home and cat. Outside of that, my service includes whatever else you require, from plant watering to taking bins out.

Sophie tended to my cat perfectly. My cat can be quite challenging to look after as he doesn't usually accept strangers. However, Sophie took the time to appreciate this, upon entering the property Sophie waited by the door until the cat came down and welcomed her in. This definitely shows that Sophie is a cat person as a lot of looking after cats is doing everything on their terms and appreciating boundaries. Sophie then proceeded to feed water, empty the litter tray and stroke him. I couldn't of asked for a better service, Jamie (my cat) was very content on my return and my place was left secure and spotless. Thanks again Sophie, would highly recommend 😁
Sophie is a true animal lover! She loves and cares for her own gorgeous cat exactly the same as she would anyone else’s and I know whenever she is looking after mine they are in the safest of hands.

Schedule
For my day job I am a full time Health & Safety Manager. This makes me available for early morning visits up until 06:30, and evening / night visits any time from 17:00 during the working week. I am free all weekend, every weekend, for longer visits, extra play time and cuddles This renders me available to cover your holiday, your weekend away, or even just your date night!
