I’m Sophie, a professional zookeeper with a lifelong passion for animals. 🐾 I currently work as a zookeeper and previously worked in animal rescue, giving me experience caring for a wide variety of species with different needs, personalities, and temperaments. My professional animal-care experience includes medication administration, behavior management, training, enrichment, feeding, and recognizing changes in an animal’s health or behavior. I’m comfortable working with animals who need a little extra patience, structure, or specialized care. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, quirky, or needs a little extra attention, I’ll treat them like one of my own. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. ❤️ I’d love the opportunity to meet your furry (or not-so-furry!) family members!

Schedule
I am available Sundays and Mondays all day for pet care. On Tuesdays through Saturdays, I work full time to I am open to evening availability.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in an apartment complex with my own dogs and cats. I can let them out frequently and have a dog park in the complex. I also have experience walking a variety of dogs with complex needs (10 lbs - 110lbs, gentle leads/ muzzles/ harnesses, varying degrees of pulling). I have experience making sure the home is secure when I leave.
