As a dog sitter and walker, I pay close attention to the needs of the individual pet. I can take a dog on a longer walk or play if they are particularly energetic, or just a little jaunt around the neighborhood and social time at home if they are less mobile. For cats, I will provide them with play and stimulation while also ensuring that they are well fed and their water is full, as well as keeping litter clean. I will follow your advice as to your pets particular needs, as you know them best!

This was my first time using a sitter from Rover, and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Sophie was incredibly kind, responsible, communicative, and attentive from start to finish. She sent me regular photos and videos of my pets, responded to my messages so promptly, and gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. My dog is very sweet but somewhat slow to trust new people, and she was so patient with her. It was obvious she made my girls feel safe and cared for, which I really appreciated. When I got home, everything was exactly as I’d left it, which speaks to how respectful and responsible she is. I felt completely comfortable knowing my pets and home were in such good hands. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable pet sitter, and I will absolutely book with Sophie again.

Sophie D is reliable and wonderful with our dogs. She has cared for two of our labs and was so helpful with our older lab. She is also terrific with our lab puppy who needs a lot of activity.

Schedule
I am currently a graduate student with a flexible schedule. It is a great schedule if you need someone to drop in on your pet while you're at work, or need someone to walk them while you're working from home!

- Let me know if your dog has a preferred route for walking or a particular routine that they usually follow.
