Hello! We are Sophie and Charlotte, an animal-loving couple who have been professionally pet sitting for over 3 years now. Throughout our professional pet sitting, we have cared for a wide range of dogs and cats, and adore seeing each personality shine through. Charlotte has great personal experience with terriers and spaniels, in particular. As all terrier parents know, they often have big personalities in little bodies! Having cared for other people's dogs, she is well equipped to care for those that can struggle around other dogs and children, or those that just like to do things their own way! Sophie has many additional years of personal experience caring for her own rabbits, as well as the cats of her friends and family.

Sophie & Charlotte took the very best care of our very timid (rescued) chihuahua. We got photos every day, so we were able to see how relaxed and happy she was. Highly recommended!

We are so pleased to have found Sophie, Charlotte and Izzy! Cuba is not usually interested in other dogs but her and Izzy have enjoyed each other’s company and seem to have struck up a friendship. Cuba was poorly a few days before she was due to stay with Charlotte and Sophie so I was particularly worried about leaving her. I needn’t have worried, she was cared for as if she was Sophie and Charlotte’s own dog. They were confident that they could give her her meds and that proved to be the case. My vet had given the all clear confirming that she was well enough to leave but, that said, I was concerned but the care she was given was excellent. So a huge thank you to Sophie and Charlotte for giving me the confidence to trust them with Cuba’s care. They kept me updated on her progress every day with photographs to keep me going although I clearly wasn’t missed! 😂
Cuba had a fab time with Charlotte, Sophie & Izzy. She’s very gentle and appreciated having a quiet time, a leg stretch at lunchtime and a doze on the sofa this afternoon! Thank you for making Cuba so welcome! 🤗
Wonderfully looked after our dachshund Wolfie came back Happy and relaxed. Sophie and Charlotte were kind and knowledgeable nothing too much trouble. They are excellent dog sitters and we couldn't have asked for better. Thank you

Schedule
Charlotte is a work-from-home / hybrid digital marketer. Some days she nips into the office in Melton Mowbray (1-2 days a week, 9:00am-5:00pm). However, she is usually able to work fully remotely whilst doing a petsit so she will be available to care for pets throughout the day. Sophie is a dental nurse that works in Oakham. Typically she works Mon-Fri 8:00am - 5:30pm, but occasionally works evenings and Saturdays too. She will join Charlotte in the mornings, evenings, and weekends to assist with pet care. For doggy day care in our home, we kindly request drop-off to be between 7am-9am, with pick-up being between 4pm-6pm. Day care includes 8 hours in our home, any additional hours will be charged at £3 per hour. For example, 8am-6pm will be our day care rate plus £6. Any questions or queries - please just message us!

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a little village called Ropsley in the Lincolnshire countryside. For any pets which come to stay with us, there are plenty of great walks in the surrounding areas for them to enjoy. For the more relaxed furry friends, we have a cosy home with plenty of comfortable chairs and beds which they are welcome to chill out on! Our home has a completely fenced off and secure back garden, making it safe for little paws to roam freely. For sits where we stay in your home, we will ensure all gates and doors are closed where required, so muddy paws can stay where they need to be. We also understand that sometimes our furry friends need to stay away from certain areas and rooms for their own safety (or your peace of mind) so we will follow any preferences you have. We have done several stays in clients' homes and we always respect your property, ensuring we keep it clean and tidy and leave it how we found it. We respect your privacy and follow any guidelines or wishes you may have. We will bring our own food shopping when we come to stay too. We usually recommend creating a Whatsapp group chat before the pet sit so we can keep you updated with messages and photos of your furry friends - you won't need to worry about a thing!

A typical day
We will follow the usual routine that your pets are used to - whether this means morning and/or evening walks, meals at the times they are used to, and playing their favourite games with them. And most important of all - we guarantee that your pet will have many many cuddles and attention. We get quite attached to the characters we meet on our petsits!
