Hi my name is Sophie, and I am a big lover of dogs. I had my dog Augie, a Tibetan terrier for thirteen years. I currently have a chances mix named Louie who is very sweet. In addition to caring for my pets, I also take care of the neighborhood dogs and dog sit for friends. I have professionally dog walked/ sat since 2018. I do both drop in visits and overnight stays. I would love to take care of your dog and make sure they are safe and have fun! I used to volunteer at the Lost Dog Shelter in Falls Church. There I have worked with dogs of many different breeds, energy levels, ages, and training. At Lost dog I took them on walks or played with them in the yard. I look forward to walking and taking care of your dog if you hire me!

Safety, trust & environment
I always check the fence before letting a dog out to play in their back yard. For the walks I ensure their harnesses or leashes are on properly and securely. I keep an eye out to make sure they don’t eat anything weird on the walks. In addition, I make sure I never leave out anything on counters or the floors that a dog can’t have.

Sophie is fantastic. This is the second time Sophie has taken care of our dog. When we mention her name, our doggie gets really excited and runs to the door hoping she is there.
We enthusiastically recommend Sophia. She was communicative on visits and voiced concerns as observed. She was flexible in adjusting visit times, if needed. Colby, our dog, appeared happy and well taken care of. We would use Sophie again in the future.
Sophie did a great job! Would not hesitate to have her take care of Chip again.

Schedule
I currently work part time so I have plenty of time during the day to care for the pups. I adore having a flexible schedule that allows me to continue to dog sit and dog walk.
