Hi, I'm Sophie. I started Walks by Sophie because I believe dogs deserve better than rushed walks in large packs. Walks are about so much more than exercise. Walks are how dogs socialise and explore the world, where they can feel included and cared for. ​ I've always adored dogs, from our first family dog to my current pup, Cher. After a decade building customer success teams for other peoples businesses, I decided it was time to build something of my own - here in Burgess Hill, the community I live in. ​ I didn't rush it, I spent time working for an established local dog walking business first, learning the job properly before putting my name on it. Walks by Sophie is the result of that - a small, considered business built to last. Each dog I care for gets the same love, patience and attention I give my own dog. ​ I also offer a boutique dog sitting service for when you’re away. Every dog I sit for enjoys either two 30 minute walks or one hour long walk each day, whichever suits them best. The same unhurried, attentive care, in the comfort of their own home. The dogs will never be left for more than 4 hours and will receive plenty of enrichment and unlimited fuss. ​ Fully insured, DBS checked and pet first aid trained. Because the basics aren't optional.
