I work from home Monday to Friday, which gives me the flexibility to work from anywhere with a reliable WiFi connection. This allows me to be fully present and attentive to your pet throughout the day. I’m an early riser, so morning walks and toilet breaks are never an issue, and my schedule easily accommodates both morning and evening walks. Working from home also means plenty of time for play, companionship, and, of course, lots of cuddles🐾

I also have a secure, fenced garden—perfect for safe outdoor play and fresh air. I’m ideally located near woodland areas, offering great opportunities for longer, enriching walks in nature. If your pet is crate-trained or requires crating, I have the space to accommodate this, ensuring they feel safe and comfortable when resting or left alone. Please note that my home does have stairs, so if your pet prefers to sleep upstairs or on the bed, they would need to be comfortable using stairs or be okay with being carried. When in pet sitting in someone else home I ensure your house is treated as thought it is my own. I will ensure your house is clean and tidy on your return and throughout my stay. Your pet is my priority so ensuring they feel safe and content is vital. When out on walks unless confirmed by yourself during our initial meet and greet, your pet is kept leaded and with me at all times. I from experience know trust is very important so I am happy to do a few sessions ahead of my stay with your fur baby to ensure you and your pet feel safe and happy.

A bit about me 🫶🏼 Hi! I’m Sophie but you can all call me Soph, I am a dedicated and trustworthy pet sitter with a genuine love for animals. I’ve been surrounded by pets my whole life, growing up and into adulthood with both cats and dogs. I truly understand how important it is to find someone you can rely on and trust to look after your fur babies🐾 I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where your pet will feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority, and I will treat your fur baby as if they were my own. I offer plenty of cuddles, attention, and affection from our very first hello to the final goodbye. I work from home, which means I’m flexible and able to adapt to you and your pet’s needs. I can work from the comfort of your home, helping your pet stay relaxed and content in a familiar environment while you’re away. As I work remotely, access to reliable WiFi is essential during house sits. I have experience with a wide range of animals, from kittens and puppies to adult cats and dogs, as well as reptiles of all shapes and sizes. With me the tiniest of babies to largest they are all welcome. I believe every animal deserves love, patience, and attentive care and that’s exactly what I provide. I also have experience caring for dogs with a wide range of needs, including those with allergies who require close attention to diet, exercise, and overall routine. I’m confident managing feeding plans and ensuring everything is tailored to keep them comfortable and healthy. I’ve also cared for senior dogs who need a gentler approach, including slower paced walks, support with stairs, and extra patience and understanding especially for those experiencing incontinence, where regular toilet breaks are never an issue. I’m experienced in administering oral medication safely and calmly, and I always take the time to make pets feel at ease. Whether it’s providing attentive care or simply giving plenty of belly rubs and affection, I’m dedicated to ensuring every dog feels happy, supported, and well looked after. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or simply companionship, I tailor my care to suit each pet’s unique personality and routine. Meet & Greets 🐾 Meet and greets are an important first step for you, your pet, and myself to ensure we’re the right fit for each other. Our initial meet will last around 15–20 minutes, giving us time to discuss your pet’s routine, needs, and preferences so I can provide the highest standard of care. It’s also a great opportunity for me to learn about your pet’s personality, likes, and quirks helping us build a positive and comfortable bond from the start. Most importantly, it allows your pet to meet me at their own pace, have a good sniff, and feel relaxed and confident in my presence. You are your pet’s best friend, and I promise to be a close second🫶🏼

Sophie looked after Monty and Lily amazingly, they instantly took to her at the first meet and greet. Sophie was calm and gentle in her approach with them and was keen to hear all about them and their specific needs. It was the first time leaving Monty and Lily with a non family member therefore I was quite anxious, however Sophie put me at ease and was very understanding. I received photos and updates during my time away which helped massively. I would highly recommend d Sophie and wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.
Sophie was amazing, using Rover for the first time & not having ever left my 2 border terriers overnight at home before was something I’d wanted to do for ages but hadn’t been able to pluck up the courage ! Sophie was so thoughtful, easing my worries about my nervous border by taking time to come & meet them before the house sit which was invaluable. On the day, her calm professional approach resulted in her building a relationship with my nervous border which I am so grateful for & is really beneficial for the future. Thank you so much Sophie I now feel relaxed about planning the next house sit & am looking forward to leaving my dogs in safe hands again
