I work full-time for a local charity, but my working arrangements are flexible and I split my time between working at home and in the office. This enables me to arrange my schedule around looking after your dog.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a ground floor flat with my partner. There are no stairs which makes it especially suitable for older dogs or those who struggle with stairs for other reasons. It's a quiet, calm household and we have no children or pets of our own. I don't have a garden, but there is shared outdoor grassy space for toilet breaks, and I am a five minute walk from a large park. Depending on individual behaviour/requirements and your own rules, I'm happy to allow the dogs I look after in all rooms and on furniture. My priority is that they are relaxed and comfortable. I have space for a crate in my kitchen so can easily crate your dog if needed. I have a camera set up so I can check on your dog if I need to leave the house during their stay.

Information Sophie B. would like to know about your pet
Useful things for me to know are whether your dog is good with people and other dogs, how often they need toilet breaks, how often they need to be walked and for how long, and whether they can be left alone and for how long. I'm happy to cater for individual needs - the more I know about your dog the better.
A typical day
I like to take dogs to a park local to me, it's a wide open space where there are usually other dogs to say hello to - but big enough to avoid them if your dog is nervous. If your dog likes to socialise, I'm happy to take them with me wherever I go (I know some dogs love pubs and cafes) but am also fine curling up with them on the sofa. I'm always up for a game of fetch or a tug of war.

Reviews

Diesel had a lovely time with Sophie again. We had lots of updates during his time with her. He is already booked for another stay.

Diesel seemed completely happy with Sophie. We had regular updates. We have already booked again!

We had a night's stay for our 12 year boarder terrier as a test to see if she would be happy staying , it was a great success, everything went well , Sophie is very accomadating and our Bonnie settled in well and seemed very content , Sophie kept intouch to tell us how she was getting on , so it's a great relief to know are dog will be happy staying with Sophie.

Another wonderful stay with Sophie - Huge thanks for the safe and loving home you provide for our little Penny while we’re away. It’s always lovely seeing all the fun things she’s getting up to with Sophie, who goes above and beyond to make Penny feel special. A huge thanks from us all xxx
