A typical day
I bring the dogs out about 4 times a day. (3 x 10 mins sniffing walks and 1 fast walk about 45 mins) I can bring the dogs to an off-leash dog park, or take then on a hike (Depending on the dog's needs). I can even bring small dogs paddleboarding. Some dogs love playing hide and seek inside the home.

Hi all! I know leaving your fur babies in someone else's care can be stressful. Hopefully I can offer some relief. Growing up, my home was a foster home for animals. We cared for pets until they found their furever homes. This has given me a lifetime of experience with cats and dogs of all breeds and sizes. What makes me a good sitter? I offer a quiet, peaceful environment. I do outdoor activities daily. I studied and have a Dog Emotion and Cognition certificate from Duke University. I was a pharmacy tech for over 10 years, so I'm comfortable administrating medication. I also have experience working in a boarding kennel and drove a dog shuttle! I only use non-toxic cleaning products. No smoking, no air fresheners. I always pay the cheese tax.

Can’t thank Sophie enough for watching our dog Duke! She was willing to help us out last minute and gave our dog a great weekend. She sent consistent updates about his paw-cation which really eased our stress leaving him since he can get anxious; it was a true testament that he was fine in her care. I truly have nothing but great things to say about Sophie - definitely recommend choosing her if you are looking for someone who will truly care about your pet.
Sophie did an excellent job watching my puppy, Kipo. She was very communicative, attentive to Kipo's needs, and send multiple updates through the day. She even washed Kipo's paws to remove dirt and salt after her walk. I could tell when I picked her up that Kipo had a wonderful stay and really took to Sophie.
Pups had a great day! Everything went smoothly. Sophie is great to deal with — thank you so much☺️
