My dog got a daily walk due to him being little and older, he doesn’t walk very far (he chooses when to go back). He suffered from heart disease- a genetic disorder, so I administered medicine to his twice daily every 12 hours. My cat on the other hand is very low maintenance, but loves a cuddle and spend majority of the day sleeping in my room.

Pet care experience
Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have been horse riding since I could walk, and I’ve dreamt of being a Vet since I could talk. Although my career path has changed, my love for animals has not. I currently have a dog and a cat of my own, which I have had since they were babies, and now I am looking after them in their senior years. My dog currently has heart disease, due to genetic issues, so I am experienced in administering medication. My cat, although she is old, she is still as fiesta as ever. She has not taught me how to administer medication, but other skills such as patience.

Reviews

Sophie was a star! her communication was excellent and very prompt. Even came to see us at a mutual location agreed before taking our Rocky in. Very polite, professional, mature and caring nature. She went above her customer service required accommodating requests and picking up any messages whilst we were away. We felt very assured she would be great for Rocky and were very happy with her care she gave Rocky which was a complete full day. We would strongly recommend her to look after Rocky again. Great carer and lovely personality. Thank you so much.
Sophie is a highly trustworthy and caring dog sitter. She ensured our dogs were well fed and definitely exercised, given that they lay infront of the fire for the whole evening afterwards. She clearly has a passion for animals, and we will definitely be returning to use her services. On top of all, she is a lovely and kind young lady and treated the house with the utmost respect.
Sophie has a natural gift with animal and is very capable of looking after pets big and small. She is intuitive, affectionate, attentive to the needs of pets and a responsible and mature person for a person her age. I have complete trust in Sophie to handle animals including horses.
