I have an enclosed large fenced garden with lots of woodland and paths to go on lovely walks. They will be walked daily or twice daily dependant on your routine and have access to the garden when they need. All our pets are allowed upstairs, on the sofa and on the bed. Again if you prefer dogs not to go On furniture we will honour what they are used to! Under the stairs we have doggy pillows, blankets and beds so they can take themselves off for some peace and quiet should they wish. Before you leave your furry friend with us as I have dogs on my own I would like to introduce my dogs to yours and get them used to the environment and me. My shepherd can be a bit ‘barky’ at first meeting new dogs as she had a bad experience when younger but after 5 minutes she is fine and running round playing she loves other dogs to play with as my elder dog would rather sleep!

I like to meet all my dogs ahead of time to ensure I am right for your dog. As we know dogs can be picky with who they love and it’s important I am the right person for your beloved pet. I will only walk 2 dogs at one time. If it is day care I will require yourself and your dog to come and spend 30 minutes with me in my home and dogs to ensure everything is all perfect for you all.

Dependant on your dog and what they enjoy we can go for walks on Lead or special woodland walks where I know some great off lead areas. I will also stimulate your dog with good manners on the lead, treats (if pre approved by you) and any toys you may wish me to play with whilst out and about with your fur friend.

Welcome to Sparkes Doggie Duties! We are Sophie and Joshua - We require a meet and greet in our home prior to accepting any boarders Or day care, this allows you to see where your fur baby will be cared for and introduce your dogs to mine (I have 2 with details listed below) I have grown up around all breeds from small to large; specifically German shepherds, spaniels, Shih tzu’s and labs. My parents also run a dog rescue out in Spain which I often go and support and carry out UK Home check for. All dogs of shape and size welcome. I absolutely adore pets and know when you go away, if anything like me you just hope they are having fun and don’t think you’ve left them! It is my job to ensure they are happy and healthy, keep you updated and make sure they feel loved and cared until your return.

All good with another stay for Oscar and this time with his sister Elsie as well.
Olive was made to feel completely at home and given lots of fuss and attention, and we received good updates during her stay which also put our minds at rest.
Sophie and Josh are fantastic, my GSD always has a really great time and is looked after well!
Great service from Sophie again, Bruno is always happy to stay with her and will be back soon. Thank you Sophie.
