Hello! I'm Sophie it is lovely to meet you and your furry friend. I live with my boyfriend Sam (who loves animals as much as I do) and we will often share petsitting duties. I adore both cats and dogs, and have grown up with many animals in the family home. Since moving to London, I really miss having a pet around every day! While I don't currently have a dog or cat of my own here in London, I would love to have a cat and/or dog to call my own in the future, but until that day comes, pet-sitting is a huge passion of mine. My friends and neighbours have often relied on me to petsit while they are away, and I regularly help out with dog-walks and drop-ins. I live in a pet-friendly flat in a converted house in Streatham, only a short 5 minute walk from Streatham Common. There is a fenced garden space at the back of the house so I am able to give pets plenty of bathroom breaks and can go for long walks around the common and woodland areas nearby. I live with my partner Sam (also an animal lover!) in our cosy 1-bed flat, which has plenty of space for a cat bed, dog crate or any other items that will make your pet feel right at home! I'm also a lover of second-hand furniture so I'm not at all precious about your dog or cat curling up on the sofa, rug or bed - wherever they get comfy. Sophie (and our partner Sam) did a wonderful job looking after our dog and cat while we went away for the week. We had never had a house-sitter before so we were grateful that they came around to meet us, to reassure us and meet our pets. Communication was excellent and the house looked perfect when we came home. Highly recommended.

Schedule
I am a freelancer - so my schedule can be very flexible to accommodate you and your pet's needs. This means I can easily plan my day around what your dog or cat is used to, whether that's long walks, frequent toilet breaks, regular cuddles or all of the above! My work varies from week to week, but is mostly work-from-home, and a few times a week I go into my studio in Wandsworth, which is also a dog-friendly space. During extra busy periods such as the holidays, my boyfriend Sam can also offer up his availability if needed.
