I have been an ongoing volunteer at the Animal Defense League of San Antonio since I was about 9 y/o, taking the dogs on walks and socializing the cats and kittens. I have thorough knowledge and experience with raising and fostering kittens, as well as dogs just under 1y/o. I've owned and fostered cats and dogs at varying life stages, throughout my entire life as well. Along with having shadowed a few dog trainers, I am knowledgeable and confident in my ability to care for our sweet, little, fur-babies.

After meeting and getting acquainted with your fur-baby, I'd appreciate it if, after being told everything you want me to be aware of your pet, you were to also write down detailed notes about your pet's daily routine; feeding times, what food/treats they are and aren't allowed to comsue, common behaviors, what they're allowed and aren't allowed to do around the house, any necessary medications (if any), etc.

Since Sophia was a young child, she has been known as the “animal whisperer” in our family. She has a talent for making friends with ALL animals. We have always had two dogs and currently 3 cats as well. They adore Sophia! She has also begun teaching our shepherd mix obedience strategies and tricks, along with our professional trainer. In addition to teaching our dogs how to use toys to keep them stimulated, she walks our dogs (40 and 45 lbs) together everyday without difficulty. You cannot go wrong if you choose Sophia for your animal companion’s care.
Sophia is an avid animal lover and has always been great with dogs. She grew up in a household that always had at least 2 dogs and 2 cats. She's a "natural" around pets and often others will comment on how their dog "never is that friendly..." with people they don't know, when Sophia meets their dog for the first time. Sophia loves to care for and be around dogs and I believe she will keep your pet's well being her top priority.
Sophia will be an asset to Rover because of her ability to connect with pets. Sophia is a hard working and conscientious person who loves dogs and has shown compassion and patience in caring for them. Since her childhood, Sophia has demonstrated an unusual ability to communicate with and provide loving care to adorable puppies as well as mature dogs. Schedule
Currently, I am in-between jobs, so I as long as I have about a day's heads-up, I'm usually free pretty much any day to care for you furry friend. I perfer to start my work day around afternoon to late afternoon, though morning time isn't a deal-breaker.
