Hello! I graduated high school in 2022. During my senior year I attended the Bixhorn Technological Center for Animal Science Boces. There I learned a plethora of skills and knowledge including but not limited to, both animal behavior and phycology, as well as husbandry, nutrition, and grooming. I am trained and capable of administering insulin, as well as I have experience caring for disabled and paralyzed dogs:) I first joined rover in 2024 while attending community college on Long Island, since then I’ve worked a variety of farm jobs as well. Most recently the Suffolk county farm; there I was responsible for the care and livelihood of a variety of livestock from poultry, goats, pigs, llamas, horses, and cows. Please feel free to reach out with questions about farm help as well I would love to do it again! I stepped back from rover this past year for personal reasons, however I just transferred to SUNY ESF and would love to get back into pet care!

I am available for overnight care if contacted in advance, but I am always available for regular potty breaks, walks, and play time as needed. I have experience both coming for visits and staying in home for pet sitting,

Sophia was very communicative about our animals! She sent pics, gave updates. The animals were happy when we arrived home which is always a good sign that they weren't anxious while we were away! I would definitely use Sophia again!
Sophia house sat and took care of our two dogs for 5-nights while we were out of state. She was great and we highly recommend her. We are new to the area so needed to find a new sitter. Gotti is a high energy 110 pound male Rotti and Raven is a 70 pound old female Rotti mix. It really has to be the right person to handle our crazy household so we lucked out finding Sophia. The pups loved her, as shown by the photos she sent every day. She found herself having both dogs in bed with both of them every night. As an added bonus she fed the feral cat every night. We hope to use Sophia in the future. We came home to the house in one piece and happy dogs.
My long time dog sitter wasn't available for a 16 day trip and I was scrambling to find someone I could trust with my anxious pittie mix. I was so lucky to find Sophia. We met twice before the trip to get my dog used to her and to discuss expectations. She sent daily pictures and updates and my boy got so much love and attention. I had so much piece of mind and was able to enjoy my trip. I will definitely book Sophia again.
Sophia did a great job getting along with my shy cat. She sent a lot of pictures and videos as well.
Sophia was amazing! We are so pleased. She gave me photo & text updates on our 3 pups daily. She truly loved them & cuddled with them all week. We can home to 3 happy pups and an immaculate home. We will absolutely use Sophia again. 💗
