I am a student at CMU as well as a member of the dance team. I have Sunday morning practices 8am-12 starting next week. Mondays and Fridays I only have one class 8-8:50am, so those days would be the most open. Tuesdays and Thursdays are pretty packed, so I would prefer not to care for pets those days but if someone needs, I could possibly come after 7pm. Wednesdays I only have morning practice 6-7am and a lab 2-5pm, so I can come in the morning after practice or after 5 that day. Saturdays are typically open with the exception of a couple game performance days. Also, at some point I will have mid-week basketball game performances and next semester my class schedule does change. I sincerely apologize for how complicated my schedule is, but I hope I can still be a helping hand for you!

I live in a dorm currently, so unfortunately I cannot have pets come here, but I have a car nearby so coming to your home will not be an issue for me! When it comes to safety, I usually ask the owner for their vet's phone number in the case of an emergent issue. However, I always am in constant communication with the owner and am fully transparent, so if I have any concerns about the pet, the owner would be the first to know! I can care for your pet however you are comfortable with me doing so. I am able to do whatever you need. I also love to send cute pictures to the owner of their pet (if they want me to) while I am taking care of them, so that the owner knows they are well!

I would prefer to know ahead of time any behaviors I should be aware of, medications, and ailments on the pet. I would also like to know of any special needs the pet has.
A typical day
I can play with them in the house or outside, depending on the pet. I can go on walks with them. I can do whatever the pet enjoys! Fetch and tug-of-war are always fun too!

Pet care experience
I have taken care of many different dogs and cats on multiple occasions for multiple different families since I was 14 years old! I am able to take care of multiple pets at a time. I can walk them, feed them, play with them, clean up, manage medications, and anything else you may need me to do! I have a dog back at home, as well. I love animals and will care for your pets like they are my own. :)

I appreciate how helpful Sophia attempts to be. She is quite responsive to my suggestions about my dog.
Sophia is dependable, hard working and kind. She has looked after our 2 cats multiple times over several years. She fed them according to directions, cleaned the litter and loved them. The cats looked forward to her visits, welcoming her with their "meows." She even spent extra time with them when she thought they were lonely. Sophia is great!
Sophia has watched my 2 (previously 3) dogs on several occasions. They are all 40-60 lbs and can be a bit rowdy. She is so good with them- firm but friendly, calm but gives plenty of good ear scratches. She always makes time to throw the ball for them and give them lots of love at each visit. Feeding them includes some extra steps (supplements/medicine/wet food) and she handles it with no problem. My elderly dog has occasional accidents and she's been thorough with cleaning up as needed. She once had medical question for one of my boys while I was on vacation, and though I didn't call her back for over an hour, she had already called the vet to make sure things were okay (they were!) Sophia is a very responsible and respectful young woman and I trust her implicitly in my home and with my fur babies. I definitely recommend her services!!
I would 100% recommend Sophia if you want a caring, reliable, and trustworthy pet sitter! She is so good with animals and makes sure they are safe and feel loved while their owners are away. She is also very responsible and she just does an amazing job!
