In my home my dogs have a fenced in yard for bathroom time. to eat and sleep they have their own fenced in little room, with water bowls and their beds. I can easily put dogs in crate.

With dogs I watch I typically take them outside on walks I know good trails and areas. When home i make sure to engage with them just as much by playing and giving them attention.
